Please let us turn off auto equip equipment in the options menu.
I beat the game and now i want to play with more challenge (No weapons)

If you don’t want to equip weapons, then simply don’t pick them up. Easy enough.

Why not just have an OPTION to disable auto equip?
There’s plenty of loot/sell fodder you’ll get from armour and accessories.

How many people do you think are going to use this? There’s not much of a point implementing a feature when a few hundred or thousand at the most out of a million or more are going to use it.

My suggestion would be for you to equip some crappy lvl 1 weapon. That way you’d have something in hand to avoid that and the crappy weapon wouldn’t add anything to your combat.
Not at all. I play a Naked challenge in TQAE and there I only pick up items I can’t equip and I still have enough money to buy stuff. Since I can’t wear jewellery I don’t pick up rings/necklaces/amulets. It’s simple. If I can’t wear melee gear if it’s a melee toon then I only pick up caster gear and vice versa. I check periodically that I haven’t inadvertently equipped something I shouldn’t, but it’s just a matter of learning to do so.
You think how much time it gonna take to implement that?

So devs should implement all sorts of things that only a few players want? 
Maybe you should offer to pay them by the hour to implement it.
Also need to design a GUI or some way to enable/disable it unless you add it to existing interfaces like the game’s options screen assuming there’s the space for it.
Probably want to test it a bit to make sure it works, doesn’t result in bugs or other unintended behaviour and the like.

Right, but that doesn’t mean you’re any special than the rest of us who have also bought the game :p. You can make suggestions to Crate but ultimately, it is up to them if they take them under consideration or not. I do not think they will for something like this personally for the reason I have stated that too few people will use it to justify it’s existence.

because I can probably think of 10 options that more people would use that we do not have either. As far as options go, this one definitely has no priority whatsoever.

What about an option to disable automatic iron bits pickup? Some people may want the challenge of only getting iron from selling items and completing quests. Finding iron in crates and urns makes it all too easy!
