Just refund my money. The game is unfinished, so why an expansion pack? I’ve put up with it until now because it’s disgusting, but I can’t take it anymore. Unreleased upgrade buildings and various balance issues, The problem of alcohol’s social reflection. I don’t even have hope for you anymore.
That’s only your opinion. Game is fully released as far as the devs are concerned.
Of course there are still bugs/balance stuff to be sorted; you show me a game that doesn’t have any and I’ll call it a miracle.
If you want a refund and are past the 2 hour mark then you’ll have to contact Steam support about it; nothing to do with Crate.
It’s an unfinished game right to the end. sibar
Do you sell unfinished products in your country? Is your country China?
I don’t sell anything as I’m not a Crate employee.
If you have bugs/feedback then use the appropriate channels to let the devs know. This isn’t the thread for that.
I didn’t intend to say anything to you either. It is because you represented the developers. 15% opposed the offer to create something new. Why would they go out of their way to oppose it?
Not interested, would rather wait for a new expansion, etc. I don’t know and neither do you.
What’s unfinished about it?
Didn’t you read the post above? It’s too much trouble to even answer, and I don’t expect anything anyway.
Strangely enough this is what I mutter each time I inexplicably find myself in an Arby’s drive-thru, again
If you can’t be assed to answer, then that’s about as much effort as I’m gonna give to this conversation.
Probably because you don’t actually have a good answer. The game spent 3 years in Early Access, 2 years longer than planned, giving players what they wanted. If the game is unfinished, then I’d like to know what wild expectations we still failed to meet.
Where did that 15% figure come from? Even assuming that 15% of players are against making DLC, what about the rest? Why should the majority cater to the opinions of a tiny minority?
How much did you even pay for the base game? Isn’t it already worth every single penny? Do you normally demand Samsung to bring every feature of the latest iPhone to your mid-range phone? I truly hope you are just an outlier, and not everyone in your country is like you.
To me, with the current game features and the devs’ dedication, this game is worth three times what I paid for and has completely exceeded my initial expectations.
DLC is an expansion; if you don’t like it, you have every right not to buy it. The studio needs more funds to keep developing great new ideas, while the current base game will only receive bug fixes. Stop being so greedy and unreasonable.
There’s a huge difference between ‘game is unfinished’ and ‘this game doesn’t cater to me personally’.
Man, I’ve seen you ranting about this game so many times now in this forum for very different reasons. Maybe FF is simply not for you?
Now, what do you mean by unfinished? This game has been in playtest for years. It has implemented so many things the devs didn’t originally plan to, often just because the community asked for them. Yes, it sometimes comes with bugs, but this is just normal if you keep adding tons of new stuff. But also, they fix these bugs so quickly. I mean, just take a look at the state of other games after full release and how long they often take to fix things. Compare to this standard and think about if you’re really being fair here.
Also, imagine how difficult it must be to come up with all these ideas for all these mechanics, designs and then implement and programme everything. Think about all the dedication and effort the devs must have put into this game. Ask yourself how harshly you would wanna be judged for your everyday performance in whatever you do. I for myself think it must be really hard to create something that lots of people come to like.
You get a medieval style fantasy city builder with lots of in-depth features. A beautifully designed landscape, graphics and buildings creating a wonderful atmosphere you yourself probably got lost in for many ours. All this, for the price of, I don’t know, a concert or a night at the theatre or something.
If the game doesn’t hit your taste, ok. This happens and everybody can understand that. But, think about if you really are being fair with your judgement.
@Kegelkarst: Sorry for “sabotaging” your well meant suggestion, mate. ![]()
Yeah.
They already have our money, so they stopped caring.
No crenulated/walkable walls.
No hoarded walls.
No incorporated towers.
All of which were part of the original artwork of your primary splash screen.
No battle formations, or ability to face them to the enemy prior to ordering them to attack.

And stuff I am no doubt forgetting!
Most, or all, of which were petty glaring omissions from the start, no? ![]()
And by your own admission, “…during Early Access…”
Ancient history.
If you haven’t noticed, it’s a ‘What are you doing for me, RIGHT NOW?’, world., because of corporate bullshit, like ‘Just In Time Manufacturing’, and the entire concept of ‘Early Access’ replacing the value of Beta Testing.
Like, how many times they ganked Farming after I posted Pasture to Farm Transition, Moo - Farthest Frontier / General Discussion - Crate Entertainment Forum? ![]()
Early Access doesn’t replace beta testing at Crate though. Both GD and FF are extensively tested before EA/any public patches are released. But the more eyes on things, the more bugs can be found because there are so many different set ups that people use for their machines even beta testing wouldn’t get all of them.
