Grim Dawn Version 1.0.6.0

Also rimetongue for example gets 13 PA with 1 pt investment…would not be ok:)

And working for me as well :). My cold PB build has a few points extra in there

most of the changes are pretty great, but having just completed a warpfire sorcerer, OOF.

Very good patch. Sucks that new boss looks almost exactly like Loghorrean, which was expected to be exclusive and unique last boss

A lot of little (and not so little) buffs to cold damage. I hereby declare this to be A Great Patch, good job Crate!

Amazing changes Crate!

Really great changes IMO!

Just a bit sad to not see a -CD for storm totem somewhere on the valguurs set :stuck_out_tongue:

thanks for the patch!

My take:

2h Shamans get a lot of HP, with some minor investment you can reach 20k+ HP, coupled with the Crucible HP buff and overcapped Wendigo totem they become immovable walls.

Avenger’s set is very strong, the proc is pretty much like a Ghoulish Hunger with a high uptime.
Can be hard to get good resists with it though, wish either the chest or the shoulders had one more bottom row resist.

Mirror/MoT/TD nerfs are minor at best. Yes, you can’t chain them for 100% immunity anymore but you can still get like 75%+ uptime on what is practically damage immunity, which is still ridiculously strong.

Glad 170 is doable with NB builds, the Dual Blades change coupled with something like the enemy damage reduction on Aura of Censure makes it relatively comfortable to do.

170 in general should be doable with most endgame builds now, assuming you either have a baseline of defenses or passable kiting skills.
This is really good since it makes Crucible a lot more interesting, there’s that build variety you wanted.

Please sb clarify this for me - the lack of save compatibility - does that mean I need to create new chars, cause all the old ones are useless now? What about items I so far collected in the transfer stash?

What it means is that any characters you load with the latest patch will not work in older versions of the game.

There are no compatibility concerns in the reverse.

This is primarily relevant to players who may keep different versions of the game on GOG, or if you have the game on multiple PCs but don’t have all of them up to date.

Thanks for the update!

Primal Bond: added flat Bleed damage bonus for the player and pets

Thanks so much

EDIT:

Howl of Mogdrogen: now also grants Bleed damage for pets

So much bleed!

Attack speed increased to 25%, it was 20% before.

Almost every of the past patches boosted my 2H Rifle Firestrike Commando, I’m happy i didn’t abandon him

Hm, not really much news for my toon.

But I still can´t play for a few weeks so…no harm done.

Few undocumented things I’ve noticed that some people might find interesting:

  • Per this thread, Wind Devil, Storm Totem and Blade Spirit all have buff icons to indicate how many are active just like Mortar Trap.
  • Per a suggestion I made quietly, it seems like Wind Devil will actually “stick” to targets when given a single Pet Attack command now (rather than having to hold it down) instead of keeping it’s old AI of spreading it’s debuffs to as many enemies as possible. Perhaps it can be a primary build skill now like the other player-scaled summons :stuck_out_tongue:

My DW pierce Infiltrator got 47% physical resist now with 2,5k armor. And Whirling Death is worth investing now. And Crucible melee debuffs have been nerfed. And buffs have been buffed.

I am yet to test it, but it feels like it’s gonna trample 150-170 now. I mean, it could do 150-170 pre-patch with just 2 buffs and some skill. Going to be an easy mod now.

I uploaded the vid, belgo tramples;)

That MA and shears with 2x slicers:rolleyes:

Anything but savagery, basically. The old version went heavily into both zolhans and upheaval, the new version goes even further. The full set bonus is much, much better now but the overall usefulness (to me anyway) has not improved outside of its narrow niche.

Things that can be fun with a 2-hander warder set:

  • Blade arc, but that is not a default attack, would be fun to do a trauma based version
  • Primal strike, not a default attack either, such potential with the lightning to physical on the weapon
  • Forcewave, I admit this is really stretching it but since this set has zero cast speed, nope
  • Cadence, WPS and cadence are not great together either

The narrow focus on a build that can utilize all this WPS stuff is a shame in my opinion. Either way, will probably try a PS build with 4-pc ultos and this weapon, that might work and be suitably out there for my tastes.

Edit: should mention that removing the feral hunger bonus it had seems cruel, it had plenty of upheaval bonus already in my opinion. Not to mention that feral hunger is the best 2-hander WPS and a set based on that concept now doesn’t boost it beyond a +1 shaman bonus. Meh.

The Grenado is blue, I repeat, the Grenado is blue.

hugs Mythical Crescent Moon tightly

I wanted to tell you so bad
