Well, as far as I’m concerned the biggest mystery of all in those screenshots is… who the :furious: keeps on lighting and re-lighting those lamps all over the place?
It’s just like Santa - once you do the math, it’s immediately obvious that this business model is absolutely not economically sustainable in any shape, form or way…
Love those basalt crags, we have a small one near lake Balaton in our country, seeing the hexagonal columns always makes it seem like they are artificial…
And wow, so these stone guardians will be huge if those are the statues that can come alive.
With summer coming and the heat going up to the 30 Celsius with no AC around the living room. I am forced a little to back down on my PS3.
That being said I am coming back soon to this game and am ready with ALL MY CLASSES to challenge this place. I bet to anyone 1 000$ that all my tank classes and inquisitor classes that are long range will PUMMEL the crap in this environment.
I am looking forward in seeing monsters fly in these things but most of all of seeing monsters burn in the lava they fly in.
Till then know of my username Darkside099 in the game. For I shall come back to claim this environment with full of bodies of monsters killed.
I still have yet to see dead kids and stuff of that nature in the game. As brutal as it may sound it’s the only thing missing since Malmouth showed what happens to the females.
PS: Is there a chance this will be out around July/August? I would like it to so that I can play 10 hours or more a day before I start my University.
It hasn’t even made it to the testers yet and it’s almost July right now. If I had to guess, it will probably be “at least” 2 more months once it does make it to the Praetorians, whenever that might be. I’m expecting release to be during fall time.
and it wasn’t released until mid-October. We did get it in two chunks which is unlikely to be the case with FG since it’s just one act and not two, but even so testing will take a while, given there’s a new game mode to try out as well. And we have no idea when the devs will let us at it. It could be next week or could still be weeks/months away. Until Zantai gives us the word we’re in the dark.
Those basalt rocks look really great in the cave, but something doesn’t click right in out in the open screenshots, maybe too much vegetation? Area seems a bit too rocky for those big trees to grow on, went hiking a few times in my life and whenever the more rocky areas started, the big trees just ended making room for smaller plant life.
Also loving that “budget” fountain, remind me of my days in UnrealEd. “Shyt, need a fountain mesh for the town square and I can’t find any in the staticmesh files… take a column, few vases/pottery, slap it together, retexture, add water particle emitters. Done and done!” :,D
looking at it again. oh boy that lava reminds me again of Titan Quest Wusao Mountain and the final area of TQAER. Please don’t make it too similar please and please dont make the end game boss suck :undecided:
if you make the end boss look like Diablo but not look like female I think you will do blizzard some justice .
when I think about it. Loghorean and Master of Flesh look really in ugly and they do the job well. Maybe a bit sexual for my taste but past is past now.
What awaits us in in the lava zone areas?. Could it be the end boss area. ?
What you guys prefer as end game boss battle area? Volcano area seems too predictable but crate may outclass what we have already seen in other rpg. area lava damage awaits?
So you don’t want a giant humanoid dino with 4x arms like Typhon but you want a non female giant reptilian humanoid with 2x arms?
Personally I hope it’s neither. As for the areas, It looks different from Wusao already, A slight nostalgia doesn’t hurt as the atmosphere/buildup was just too good there.
Well apart from having lava I don’t think there’s much similarity between the two. The Obsidian Halls lava flows were very angular and not as lava would flow naturally. Also expect the FG ones will bubble and spew lava here and there which never happened in TQ.
To reiterate on this, Act IV also has some lava-like areas in the area preceeding all the first battlefield. Salt Flats? The devil is in the details. The pics look really good, might surpass Ekket area for me
Were those terrains somewhat inspired by the “devil’s honeycomb” volcanic rock formations found in a couple places around the world?
