Grim Misadventure #190 - They See Me Rerollin'

What about Affixed epics/legendaries? Is it possible reroll e.g. conduit affixes? Or decorated pauldrons?
What will be happens with blacksmith bonus on rerolls?

My understanding is: if you don’t chose to reroll magic affix, it stays as is, so you don’t need to worry about of Vitality or of Attack.

I think the concern is that you might want to turn one magical affix into another magical one, and don’t want it to turn rare. For example, you might have “of Wisdom” on pants and really want “of Vitality”, and there is no rare suffix that would be better than that (as the rare suffixes with +health don’t give as much and, while they have other stats, you might not need those). So in that case the chance of getting a rare result would be a negative.

(Sorry, this is just a long-winded way of stating the obvious - that sometimes magical is actually better.)

I agree. It is hard to compete with the Impervious magic prefix if you are suffering with poison and pierce resistance. The green affixes do not provide as much.

i got what you mean and yes, there is a possibility of this as initially i did not think to reroll magic affix at all, to be honest. In such case it is better to keep grinding for the item with at least one desire prefix or suffix and then reroll the second one you are not happy with until you get something you want.

If memory serves me right, the game is actually 17 years old not 9 Zantai. It was announce far back in 2009 by Arthur.

Do the Vermintide 1 thing (others have done it too of course) of, when you reroll an item, choose whether to keep the original or go with the new reroll; accidentally reroll your -of Readiness into a green affix? Just choose to keep it yellow that time rather than “upgrading” the affix tier.

Do you mean an ‘undo’ button like at spirit guide? Do they even have that at Inventor?

I spent precious in-game currency grabbing this screenshot!

Something like this.

Yes, that would deal with it.

Ackchually :point_up:t4: :relieved: the first early access version was released on May 15th, 2013. So GD is 11 years old but will turn 12 in about 2 months. Puberty awaits!

I swear titan quest 2 or even scam citizen will be out before this expansion :confounded: :confounded: :confounded:

I can hardly wait for the DLC to be released, and I will purchase it immediately upon its launch.

The conversion system is a commendable addition, and the concerns of some players can be addressed by optimizing probabilities, biases, and numerical values. In fact, Grim Dawn has excelled in balancing the numerical aspects of the game’s content. It could even be said that its balance is among the top in its genre. The introduction of new content is essential for the game, and with version optimizations, there is hope that players’ concerns will be resolved.

Not Silksong though.

While it may have been announced back then it didn’t go into early access until 2013. Full release was in February 2016.

It doesn’t matter, it’s still much older than most people think, which in credit is a testament of how long Grim Dawn is around, many don’t know this.

What about the World Championship going well?
