Okay thats helpful, but it doesn’t sound official. My mod, The Shrine of Rhyanna, is set in the near west, using the vanilla map, just west of the Rotting Croplands on the other side of the mountain.
GM #194 confirmed that Fangs of Asterkarn will begin north-west of Fort Ikon:
The area you’re using for your mod is likely safe.

I know that is the reason and it also makes sense, due to the isometric perspective. But it’s also funny from the geographical standpoint. Are we ever going to run out of “north” I wonder?
Though it will probably be dealt with the same way as Forgotten Gods. Move the starting point south and then travel north again.

The devs are having fun with this game and it shows. When the devs have the creativity freedom and its turning into a passion project, the outcome will be an awesome experience. Let them cook as much as they want

It is difficult to answer this question.
It is also in the best interest of the developers to release the expansion. I am confident they will do so before Christmas.
It remains to be seen until which Christmas exactly? 
I thought it would’ve been funny if you guys shadowdropped the DLC on April Fools day. I still think it’d be funny if you announce it to be released within the same month when you DO drop the date.

Can i kindly suggest a new feature? some sort of testing for new characters. I mean, something like an arena where you can have a lv 100 character, all devotion points, all skill points and having any gear available, just for testing for the real game?
