Grim Misadventure #34: Just Over the Bridge

and considering they are a 6 man team, this will be a huge undertaking, might seem simple saying, I want a disk, but it just adds to the cost, also they will have to deal with international shipping and that will cost a bomb, this isn’t going to happen, not unless they hook up with a publisher, (which I hope never happens)

like I said, the KS is the only way you could get boxed copies, and this isn’t going to change unless they have some way to make a lot of boxes, and what not, and ship them all across the world,

like everyone i really love the new environments, and like everyone again, especially the ruins and the mine. the picture of the mine shows a huge improvement from the caverns and cellars of Act 1.

i was just wondering if the final game will at last end at Homestead (Act 3) or if there will be a fourth act ? - not the beginning of a complain here, just a question

Mwa-ha-ha, dungeon time!

If my memory serves me right, there will be 3 acts plus 1 additional class (arcanist aka mage) on the final build. Some pictorial cutscenes and main quest will have voice overs.

The dual pistol class aka vigilante “may” make it if not that will come with a future expansion.

Will we be able to access this area as soon as we collect the required materials to fix the bridge or will we be required to kill The Warden first? Grim Dawn was supposed to be less linear than TQ right? We should be able to access this area as soon as we collect the required materials to fix the bridge, even if we still have to go back and kill The Warden later on to progress the main questline.

As can be seen in this screenshot from the Steam Early Access page, it looks like this area will open up before we kill the Warden. This screenshot takes place on the Coast Road (one of the new locations mentioned by Zantai here), and in the active quests bar there is the “Kill the Warden” objective. So I think it can be safely said that we can open this area without having to kill the Warden first.

Awesome! Gimme B15 NOW!!

This game is everything D3 should have been. Please keep up the great work guys. I haven’t had this much fun in a loooooong time.

I agree, when I saw the look of that Mine, I was oh man I cant waited to delve into that. The game just keeps getting better and better looking everyday. Thanks Devs!

I would like to know also is there going to be more Crypt or tomb type dungeons to explore? I really like going under ground in games like this. I’m hoping you guys add more of these type environments.

Great work on the game!!

Need the second act !

nice! I am really glad to see that you didn’t have this area infested with more aetherials–refreshing and really cool to have these bandits and former inmates. Really cool. Also cool to see dungeons taking different forms, actually corresponding to the environment. Really excited, impressed, and surprised.

when does this ubdate come ???

They haven’t set a precise date yet (I think). From what I remember they have indicated earliest around late desember/january.

As one of the recently converted Grim Dawn addicts, I cannot wait for more updates. Keep up the great work! You guys are awsome!

I’ve been a Kickstarter since May '12, but haven’t played until this week. I have to say that the game to date is so polished and immersive that it’s nearly destroyed my normal life – always the sign of a job well done

I don’t want to get too far before release, but I just can’t help myself. Next build will be very exciting for me.

If you manage to out it aside when the next content release comes out (whenever that is…) you should still have plenty left to explore when the full game comes out, so play all of the current build

and then play it again, and again…

awesome! i love the hidden places!! im going to put the ruins as my login screen

I love playing through the first act over and over again. But since it’s so much fun it makes me want the second act even harder. I hope it comes out before xmas.

I understand this to a degree but so far I’ve liked the environments I’ve seen and I much prefer a more realistic approach to landscape and in context of the story which they seem to be sticking to. I’m also very glad that act 2 is not a desert.
