24dmg on the shield, does that mean we can hit with the shields? If so, is it possible we get a dual shield bearer?

This is also in TQ. This damage value is used for shields attacks, which I believe is exclusively used by the Defense mastery (skills: Shield Charge, Batter, Shield Smash, Disable and Pulverize). I expect you can use this if you choose Combat in GD.

How does 99% vitality damage resistance stat works?
If it is the same as in TQ, it works against all sorts of Vitality damage based attacks (%reduction to health, vitality damage and vitality decay), no other.

The shield seems to be a quite good item. In a TQIT perspective, 99% Vitality Damage Resistance and especially 25% elemental Resistance would be useful.
I hope that we will soon have the list of all types of damages…
And please, give us the stats for the other items.
