i hope you started the omega quest because by now you would have completed one part of it

protip: bank your orbs so that you can keep getting more orbs.

killing 160 heroes is pretty quick with this setup. its the other parts of omega quest that are not quick. when you get to a point where you can quickly farm the purple names on that list. you can have 1000s of orbs banked to skip hero portion imho

Actually you can complete quest with another character on Ultimate difficulty and level up your Omega level.
Omega level can later be shared among all other characters, even those on lower difficulties (by crafting Omega Proof of corresponding level), and you can benefit from the buffs on lower difficulties.
The quest can only begin in Ultimate.
Hero souls can only be given in Ultimate.
You can dismantle Legendary from any difficulty to receive a Legendary essence.

Can you include this features to your mod?

from NNN mod:

  • Increase Skill points (5 @ 1-25, 4 @ 26-50, 3@ 51-75, 2 @ 76+) This should allow you to max out the mastery bar of both classes without worrying about losing skill power
  • Increases attribute points (two per level, each adds 5 to the attribute)
  • Remove Player level requirement from all items, only attributes are important now

And the skills modifications from Legion mod?

For now I think i can remove the level requirements from items. I agree with that personally.

changing mastery skillup amounts i can do but would screw over alot of people who dont want to cheat and use editors that have imported their chars over or who haev played the earlier DAIL versions.

I am not saying no but. maybe there is a LUA way we can fix peoples skills if i change such things ? can i have a fixer npc that counts your skills and gives you points if your short?

as for legions mod. i have to ask permission there - they are kind of a compilation mod as well. also I have to analyze what they have done. if it is like cornucopia. it is going to be verboten as it will destroy the existing skill/mastery system entirely and remove any chance of importing main game saves over.

right now in DAIL. you can bring over a main game save with 0 issues.

Yes i know this changes can mess up the current character but we are whilling for a perfect mod :smiley:

as i said before i used to maintain stuff… one of the things i hated was wipe+clean and start from 0. i like to convert, merge and otherwise upgrade everything.

that way we can bring our old chars with us

i will hit the ground stumbling on this one, but Princessluna and others have shown various examples of what I want to do already.

  1. place an npc somewhere (in eternalmod, omegamod)
  2. grant stuff to player (in eternal mod)
  3. check player skills? (is it possible?)
  4. Popup messages (in eternal mod)

Hey man, thanks very much for this mod. Really loving what you’re doing with it.

Think I’ve run into a bit of a problem though. The Necro skill Astrosphere Wraith seems to be broken. The skill activates like an aura, but there are no summons that come with it. It doesn’t seem to have any effect at all. Not sure if it’s an actual problem or I’m just misunderstanding how it’s supposed to work. Thanks in advance for any help/ideas!

And if this mod is to going give the best for the (later) game and you are whilling to increase level hero cap to 100+, maybe this is one thing to consider… but no rush, just giving possibilities for the best

i can set the level cap to 1000 and it will work (you can level up and gain skills) but there is a few structural problems.

  1. one time doors don’t work
  2. monsters wont appear over level 100 (not always but mostly)
  3. some other issues.

basically i need to do more research.
