On another note, will you give the Skeleton key another use? Right now it’s completely redundant since you removed the gates at those dungeons.
I was thinking perhaps using the skeleton key as a special key to open special loot chests? (or something else…)
In 0039 it seems that about half of the blue items drop as vanilla version - no extra affixes. Pretty weird.
The liche king for the Spirit mastery tree does not work. It summons an invisible model that doesn’t move, then when you recast it the model dies. The skill item vendors inside the tome list tag not found:invalid skill profile for the mastery items.
Demo skill tree is invisible for me in version 0039.
Epic items aree STILL dropping without affixes… is this intended?
theres no point in playing any version that has this glaring error… its annoying to get 5 epics and have only 1 be keepable because the rest spawned as boring old generic epics.
Agrresive Blessed Empowered Mogdrogons Cleaver of Fortuous Agilitiy (1 oout of every 4 or 5 epics drop with affixes like this.)

Another thing I noticed and wanted to give feedback on:
The new npc vendors (for the new classes) that are scattered around the world - they always buy items from you for 3500 bits.
Even yellow items, only ones they won’t buy that high are white items (which still circulate around 300-1000). This makes gaining money by only selling to them extremely fast - almost an exploit! :eek:
You should probably either make them not want to buy items or lower the price they accept!
Is it just me that can’t see the demo skill tree on version 0039?
Nope its missing for me as well.
As for Lich its broken in Grim Quest as well seems that the files for it are misplaced or something.
yeah,I found it since 0037,0036 is just allright,0037 maybe better than the 0038,still less loot than 0036. And since 0037,the affixes changes made by cornucopia have been moved out,restored to vanila affixes。
yeah its a known issue. its in teh changelog
I would like to know if we can play online with other people? My friend and I are trying to with the 0039 version but it says that we have the wrong version all the time. We’ve been trying since yesterday. Anyone got a fix for this?
all i can see was that you plan on addressing the poll results about whether affixes should be removed… so was it partially removed on purpose until you handle it with that? i think it would have been best to leave it in until the poll results are handled
as of right it feels way too clumsy to play a version where you are throwing away 75% of your loot and the whole reason t o play is for the loot.
knowing you davood, im sure you will have it where it should be in no time though , but please dont remove the freedom of affixes mod, its far too boring to play without it… ill probably stick to 0035 until its brought back , but either way good luck!

anyways i wont get into it too much but it wasn’t removed partially or on purpose. it was just affected by merging in grim quest. when i have time to learn how it works i will be adding it back fully of course.
it was never working properly anyways - i dont know if you ever crafted legendary items but they only ever got 1 affix when you do, and not always.
my time is going to be very limited in the near future so if anyone wants to help out with the stuff i havent started working on. feel free to submit pull requests or just chunks of code/data here

I have a feeling there is more trouble with GQ than it is worth it. I played the classes a bit and went through all of them and in my opinion they feel pretty lackluster compared to others, even vanilla. They all require a lot of balancing and reworked skills to not make them look boring or some skills viewed as worse versions of already existing skills.
I know how nostalgia works on people, but these skill trees should stay in TQ, we need new ones.
I don’t know about lackluster, but I can understand wanting to keep mastery slots open for more custom ones than just TQ imports that we’ve seen and played before. The issue is that if they were removed any character that uses them breaks upon updating to the version that doesn’t have those masteries anymore. Of course, if the mastery limit was increased again then it wouldn’t be a problem.
The GQ masteries are really good at complementing another one. For example I’m playing caster-shaman with storm as second mastery… And oh boy, at level 67 I have 1600% lightning damage bonus :rolleyes:
I do agree however that some of the skills need a slight rework. Like for example thunderball/lightning bolt both have 10 second cooldowns and aren’t good enough to compete with any of the other skills so far.
Davood, can you implement some sort of “mastery reset” vendor or such in game? So many fun class combos to try out but I don’t have time to level 40 chars from 1 up :3
I’m not sure that’s something that’s able to be done within the game. You can just use GD Defiler and do it by hand yourself you know.
