Yes, especially when the number 1 criticism I received from making Zenith is “These masteries are too strong.”
But an argument against one thing is not an argument for another thing. I have, however, received multiple thanks and requests to make things more in-line with the vanilla experience. That’s why some of my earlier mods, like GDReforge (not updated)
or Bounties Unlocked (included in this mod)
exist. Many people just want small tweaks to clean out the rougher edges of the game, rather than total powercreep and big flashy numbers. I tried the big and flashy with Zenith. It didn’t really stick.
If there’s a case where my mod’s items are strictly weaker than vanilla options, that’s a situation where I’d happily bump up some numbers. And it’s definitely possible such cases exist; I’m pretty sure my mod’s Cadence set is on the weaker side, and that’s because Cadence is (one of) my favorite skills in GD - so I didn’t want to let my personal bias result in something extremely powerful.
