[Mod] Not So Grim [Compilation]

This mod will only work if you have Ashes of Malmouth installed.

This version will also not work with your not_so_grim characters made before AoM. Please no bug reports without starting a new character first.

After much consideration I will no longer be supporting this mod. However all worked fine for me with Grim Dawn v1.0.6.1 and the source is available.

DESCRIPTION

I’ve merged and updated the autopickup mod(by Elfe), the Bounties Unlocked mod(by Ceno), the Coronus Mastery(by Somerled), and the Stasher V8 mod(by tt300)-(*optional) then added in some more changes of my own to make the game play a little easier and less grindy for those that might like it. This mod is also a great way to create builds and test them out.

Here’s a list of some of the changes.

[li]AutoPickup mod or people are lazy fully integrated.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Bounties Unlocked mod fully integrated. So now you can do more than 5 bounties per session.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Coronus Mastery fully integrated.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Stasher V8 fully integrated. (*optional)[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]No Environmental Damage (*optional)[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]A Mysterious Stranger has been added and can do the following:[/li][list]
[li]Raise your character level for a price. He will always offer to raise you by 1,5,or 10 levels. If at levels 1,25,50,75,or 85 he will offer to make you a specific higher level.(these options won’t appear if your at max level)[/li]
[li]Sell you faction levels. (if you don’t see the faction level you want listed it means your already that level or you cant afford it i.e. revered is 25,000 iron)[/li]
[li]Unlock the next difficulty level for you for a price. (this option won’t appear if you’ve already beat the game on that difficulty)[/ul][/list][/li][ul]
[li]A new vending area was added just take the cthonic rift in Devil’s Crossing. This area contains all Epics and Legendaries as well as three specialty vendors, a mod items vendor, a blueprints vendor, a blacksmith, an inventor, a spirit guide, and the Mysterious Stranger.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]The specialty vendors have all potions, all relics, all augments, all components and crafting materials, some quest items, all mandates and warrants, and all lore notes.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]The mod items vendor sells some Coronus items. Most will start to show up around level 20.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]There’s a small pile of iron the mod items vendor sells called Burrwitch Bailout that cost nothing but gives you 1,000,000 iron.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]There’s a purple potion the mod items vendor sells called Essence of Devotion that will give you one devotion point per potion.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]I’ve added a belt for varying levels to help out with resists. The mod items vendor will carry these.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]I’ve added two legendary +1 to all skills rings. The mod items vendor will carry these.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Health and mana potions now heal 100% and have been reduced to an 8 second cooldown plus they stack to 1000.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Aether Clusters now have 100% damage absorption and a 45 second cooldown.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Devotion cap has been increased to 73.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Most all devotion shrines are now corrupted so just need to be fought to be cleansed.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Character run speed cap has been increased to 150.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Enemy level cap has been removed for all difficulties.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Nemesis and Avatar of Mogdrogen minimum level cap has been removed. (still good luck at low levels survival is not likely)[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Camera min zoom and pitch has been lowered so you can check out your character better now.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Camera max zoom has been raised so you can zoom out a little more.[/ul][/li][ul]
[li]Plus a few other things I’m sure I forgot Lol[/ul][/li]

HOTFIX INSTALLATION

Take the liberty to ask: what is the role of the map package? (Levels.arc - 239 MB)

Thanks and the map package is the no environmental damage mod. I just moved it from the maps folder to levels so I didn’t have to start a new map or quests to play the mod Lol

…mods always have all difficulties unlocked from the start.

I just threw it in for linked characters. I had a friend who wanted it Lol

But if you play on one you don’t have unlocked the game will automatically change it back to one you do have unlocked, forcing you to remember to change difficulty each time you load the game. It’s a fairly minor nuisance, but it does exist.

Is this mod still work on v1.0.2.1 patch?

Not to sure as I haven’t played Grim Dawn in quite awhile. My guess would be prob not.

After much consideration I regret to say

Due to lack of time, almost no feedback, and the immense popularity of a mod for a different game I will no longer be able to support this mod.

This mod however was working great on Grim Dawn v1.0.1.1 and is open source so feel free to use as you wish (please just remember to give credit where credit is due)

I really would like to see a working version for the future.

I hope someone else would pick it up, because my boyfriend loved it so much.
He is not a great ARPG player but he admires Grim Dawn (his first game of that kind), but yeah, at times he is struggeling with it.
This was the perfect mod for him.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason why you removed the Stasher from the latest version?
