Emphasis on the “crazy” part.
Just super bloody awesome in my book. I think there will be a fair few who will be itching to play this, myself included, as I tried and hated that SC2 engine remake, as the engine wasn’t suitable, and was poorly done.
But this what you are doing is beyond awesome, your using an engine that is both moddable and perfect for the job, and your are also super skilled, so two big pluses in my book, but there are probably a few other reasons, but hell yeah, can’t wait to play this baby.

Let me know if it’s ok this way (i.e. killing the elite), otherwise I will have to figure out how to make the “kill all monsters” script and that will take some time since I started learning how scripts work just today.
Hell that place looks like a kind of place where monsters would love to gather.
Looks really good, needing to be exact isn’t totally needed, at least not at first, you can always go back to enhance / change things later. once you have more time. as long as the quest works and is fairly close to the original. I say nice job.

Most of them are already included, just not in my version.
I am using very old source of the D2 class mod (heck… I dont even have necro / ama / druid).
I plan to add the latest version of D2 class mod within 1-2 weeks because DenisMashutikov is making another update “as we speak”.
So to answer your question: yes, all of D2 skill sounds will be included in the first release. The only problem is with character sounds that are gender specific (like barbarian shouts / jumps, assasin kicks and some other). Not sure how I am going to resolve those since it would be strange to hear “manly” barb shout on the female character and vice versa.
Maybe trust the intelligence of the players^^
Well if it is too difficult to resolve, we do live in a non gender specific time it seems. So you could leave it to the players imagination.
I finally have a proper working “kill all monsters objective” in the Den of Evil quest and it wouldn’t be possible without @WareBare’s scripts so BIG FAT thanks goes to him. Now I can move forward and make other A1 quests.
So after Quests the mod is complete for a full release right?
For act 1 maybe… Lol
Still don’t have the latest version of D2 class mod implemented so not really.
I also plan to add more things to farm plus polish most of the current content so let’s say that after finishing all A1 quests, it still needs about 2-3 weeks of additional work before I am satisfied with the result.
A very ambiguous definition, given that in D2 drop depends on the mobs and difficulty

I did, it has slightly better quality and colors but also different size so I need to adjust every freakin waypoint on the map which is quite time consuming and I want to finish quests first before doing overall polishing.
There is my concept of runes and gems. Gems have 2 options.

Brief update:
I completed 2 more quests (Sisters’ Burial Grounds / Forgotten Tower) today, including all the NPC conversations / voiceovers that come with them.
I plan to complete Tools of the Trade and Sisters to the Slaughter in upcoming 1-2 days. Unfortunately I am on a business trip later this week so I wont be able to make any further progress until next weekend (during which I want to finish the last remaining quest: The Search for Cain).
Let me know when those few remaining quests are done of act 1 and I’ll stream it on twitch. maybe you’ll get a few more followers
