The thing is that I don’t want too much publicity for this mod since I don’t know for sure what will happen if Blizzard finds out about it.
we’ll kick their ass or distribute it trhough alternative channels. that’s what’s gonna happen
Tools of the Trade and Sisters to the Slaughter quests are implemented and fully working (including all NPC conversation dialogs / voiceovers).
Now I have to deal with the last remaining Act 1 quest: The Search for Cain.
Too late I also will steaming mod. Futhermore, Ru community will localize it.
fair enough. I can’t speak russian. You take care of that market. Then we’lld o the west
is there any sort of eta? just when its done its done sorta thing?
It’s done when its done, which is basically like Crate’s version of “Soon” TM
Any farther questions of “When is it done” will be redirected to a huge black hole
bottom line is, “We will get it when its ready” and not a day before!!!
ETA for the Act 1 is end of this month. Only 1 quest remaining to complete and after that implementatiton of Runewords + endgame content in form of secret areas / bosses.
thanks for keep us informed look fwd to completion.
Cool, keep it up!
-desire to play intensifies immensely-
Just wanted to drop in and say that I am no longer the only one in my life looking forward to this. My girlfriend was a longtime D2 player back in the day. She had heard about GD through me, but her interest was relatively minimal.
However, yesterday I showed her the YouTube videos of your work so far, and she’s now in on buying the game, purely for this mod. You should have seen her perk up for the Rogue Encampment and Tristram videos.
You don’t even know how much this means to me.
Thank you for supporting this mod and even more importantly - for supporting Crate because this mod wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for these awesome modding tools.
Well if you keep doing awesome work like this then the support will only increase. Long time D2 players, that haven’t bought Grim dawn, might just get it just for this mod alone. Meaning more copies sold and more income for Crate. Hopefully resulting in even more Grim Dawn content. Support goes both ways in this case
Been mentioning this mod in various streams I visit. Can’t wait to play it. Almost as excited waiting for the xpack
I am curious to see how you plan to make act 2 Library map though. That’s the only one that really is different with assets. The gem crafting, horadric staff/cube I find less important and can be done later.
If by “Library” you mean Arcane Sanctuary, then this one is quite easy to make with the current assets.
yeah meant that map. Well the stairs and such is easy. … suppose the star background can be done easily as well. Good luck though
I realise you might not want Blizzard’s wrath, but I think they would be extremely silly to ignore the mod, or come down on you, afterall, it is one hell of a game, and really needed an update for some time. And besides, that other mod they allowed was nothing but half baked and insulting to the original game. I just wouldn’t call it D2 in any stretch of the imagination.
I’m pretty sure they will find out sooner or later, but I think if you have a legion of fans by then, they would have no choice but to sit up and listen.
Anyway, I’m totally looking forward to this, keep up the awesome work and can’t wait to play the first act.
Uploading a copy of the mod on torrents can practically make it immortal, just saiyan
Looking forward to the release Ram, good job
I always considered Curse of Tristram’s engine choice to be rather “odd”. How bad is it?
I am interested in Armies of Azeroth Mod on SCII though, that seems promising (Warcraft III Remake). Haven’t checked up on it either in a long while though
The Search for Cain quest completed. Wouldn’t be possible without @WareBare’s help so if anyone deserves thanks for this, it’s him.
Now I can focus on Runewords and A1 content optimization.
