on main screen GD i see this (no rainbow / no grim internals)
but when i quit RoT back to main screen , all fine
That is standard GD behavior. Until you load / play the mod, the game does not know the mod’s masteires and cannot show them.
I downloaded this using the downloader for RoT. I first logged in and have severe lag and most of the NPC’s have the checkerboard pattern on them indicating missing skins.
Any idea what I should do?
Is it possible to bypass the cow level entry fee? I’d prefer to just run lots of cow levels and dislike goblin hunting. I was hoping to use something like GDStash to just duplicate a ton of keys, but sadly it doesn’t recognize any of the modded items.
edit: Oh, duh. In case anyone else with GDStash is wondering…
Configuration Tab, Selected Mod: , chose Reign of Terror, click import database.
Try installing the standalone version instead.

The unique amulet Highlord’s Wrath have one stat like 24% chance of total damage modified
by…% what i have see it is adding directly that 24% more to my total damage.(.i think ).i have it with Strafe skill and my damage is like 90k-125k soo i removed because i got Mara’s Kaleidoscope so my damage got low till 95k …is normal? 30k less damage … and one more skill Decoy to make a clone of my self not disappears after seconds passing Uber Duriel atacking that clone…clones… i was laughing i made like 20 around him haha and…last one is the bow with 6 sockets i never see it one and sometimes i hear items drop nothing there…

Hello Ram I’ve played your mod more than 10 hours and it is really an amazing work which I really appreciated.
I am currently using Chinese community localization to play in my language. It works fine with everything in the game (tags all work) except the waypoint menu.
I checked and found it was the language.def file cause this issue. I used original English community localization and the mapnames show correctly:
Then I changed to the Chinese community localization – it works fine with everything in the game even the map names, but makes the waypoint menu blank (map name still good):
I don’t think it’s the coding problem of language.def as I experimented with original English localization (which I believe it’s no problem) for switching between two languages by adding/deleting “Fonts=ZH” and the blank only happens when adding Fonts. I have also tried other Fonts (German, Spanish, Japanese, etc.) and same problem happens.
Do you or anyone have idea about this issue? Thanks
EDIT: I even experiment with using your original tag_rot_map.txt but the same problem happens when adding other Fonts.
% chance of total dmg modifier is supposed to replicate “Deadly Strike” stat from D2, although it doesn’t translate very well due to GD applying the modifier in different way so RoT iteration is much more OP and requires further balancing.
Decoy skill will be fixed in the next update.
