After one week of no play, finally got some time back. And bringing some Crushing news !

One is for this mod, in act 1 underground passage, as i had read about it as well, you can encounter crush, however i discovered the extact way to re-create it, after entering the passage cave, use the portal to teleport back home, then, you guessed it, after you use the portal to go back to the cave map, the game crushes, i tried three times, works like a charm, like most failures, it repeats itself. As long as you don’t use lift to go back home, it’s fine, the laziest way to solve this bug is to ban rift like in endless dungeon, but, well.

Another one is my own business, in x64 mode, if you forcably knock down a unknockdown-able object like aether crytal or training dummy, the game will freeze into a no response, weird thing is if you launch the game in default mode, not x64 mode, it runs smoothly, In x64 however it happens everytime.Last week i was messing with the dummy resistence and regeneration to test mercenaries more suitably, and this appeared as a side effect, restore the file back or simply change the dummy character stat to INVINVIBLE will suffice, you can still test your attack on it, so no real pain after all.
I thought bring it here as i posted something earlier about this, just glad i found the reason at last.

Maybe it’s a coincidence I’m reading too much into, but I think for me the Underground Passage starts lagging and then crashes when I rotate the camera when I’m there. I can rotate the camera with no problems everywhere else, so I don’t know how that would work, but I swear the last time I’ve had this happen I had zero problems until I rotated the camera to see a chest, the game instantly started lagging then crashed after a few seconds. After that I stopped rotating the camera there, and since that, I haven’t had a crash there once, even if I clear the whole area.

Concerning the crashes in the passage cave: After reading these reports I’m still wondering if the x64 version of the game acts differently with these crashes and improves it, or if it’s something that occurs in both versions of the game.

my x64 doesn’t work for some reason.My crashes stopped after the few updates.I have to reinstall my games thought as my raid setup crashed yesterday morning :unamused:. Hopefully it works after the reinstall.

Someone else reported that moving the crashreporter.exe out of the game folder solved crashing for him. Might be worth a shot.

… it’s like JJ_S described it! When you turn the camera in the underground passage of act 1, there are first heavy lags and then a complete crash.

Personally, I use the x64 version of the game, and I have no other problems throughout the game … :innocent:

Same here. But since I don’t like to turn the camera, no crashes here at all so far.

Didn’t expect to learn a new way of making the game crush upon log-in to be honest. haha
I’ll mark that in mind.

OMG, Hell treasure goblins at 14 million HP haha! Well, looks like I’m undergeared.
Speaking of gear, having Delirium, Stone, Heart of the Oak, Spirit at the start of Hell is crazy! Time to farm those high runes for Enigma!

A question about my DPS, it was a summons Necromancer with about 35 minions, I have no clue what kind of DPS that was! Uber Tristram was a challenge but I’d clear it pretty quickly. From maybe 6 months ago or more when everyone said summons weren’t viable.

Summons have always been viable, even when people said they werent, before the pet buff.

yes, there’s a weapon that lets you summon more as well

At launch, Wolcen Studios had 40 devs. In the time since launch they have further splurged and are now at 60+.

Small team my ass. Compare that to 9 people that ever worked on GD.

For a little more fun - 60 devs at 30K a year comes out to around 2 million dollars in salaries. Per year.

For a game that is struggling badly.

… do you really think a developer works for $30,000 a year? I can’t really imagine - and the salaries in the USA are significantly higher than in Germany, for example … :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I actually waited a little before i got wolcen.They actually fixed th summoning with the new patch.But RoT takes my my off rushing wolcen to farm gear.I just have little time for games but i got into path of exile as well.With all the latest balancing in RoT,It’s a much better experience.

I have to start over though as i was lazy and tried installing raid drivers in windows rather than while installing os.I got bsod and restore point didn’t work.I can do date recovery but meh me lazy :unamused:

I just use 30k as a baseline - the pay likely varies and might be higher depending on experience of these hires. They are also based in France.

Don’t miss the point: feeding 60 employees ain’t cheap, even if they are being payed low wages.

I don’t believe summoner is lacking dps in this mod, given how crazy strong the summoning builds in the vanilla GD and how you can buff all skills by more than 10 levels across the board with the D2 gear. You can make immortal pets pretty much with most builds. The clearing speed is something to test though, summoners tend to be slower than the faster GD classes.

… since you were talking about $2,000,000, I assumed that Wolcon Studios was based in the US.

But since you are actually based in Nice, France, the American salaries (averaging about $80,000 when you factor in the fact that you often have to pay your own health insurance there) will certainly not be paid …
