Another desperately-needed “quality of life” feature this game absolutely needs, is more right click commands when selecting a villager. Right now there is literally only two: Move to, and attack. There needs to be commands that can be given to specific workers, such as healer helping an injured and downed person, or a laborer gathering resources.
Kinda frustrating to see this only for the healer to return to “shelter stocking” something of which shouldn’t be prioritized when a dying person lies before her.
Example of additional manual commands:
- Builders order to work on construction site, repair building and maintenance
- Laborers order to gather piles of resources and harvest
- Farmers order to work on crop field
Workers can refuse to follow the manual command, or only work briefly after being given the order depending on some factors:
- Starvation
- Disease and low health
- Immediate threat of attack from predators or raiders in the area
- Dangerous weather imminent
Seeing that some essential workers like a healer refuses to help the injured and dying guard, and instead prioritizes to stock up on her home, is by far the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen yet in the game. One might think that a monthly upkeep of 20 gold would make the healer more focused on some tasks
