My Best in Game Builds

Added

  • Sorceress Elemental Solo SR90 Hard:

Most powerful legit Sorceress. It can score SR90 Easy (5.5 to 6.5), but averages Hard (< 5.5).

As with all these builds, Best in Game

Enjoy

Updated Spellbinder and Archon

I have Dervish, Warlord, Mage Hunter, etc pet builds that range SR90 Hard to SR75 Very Easy. They are slow and rather boring to test.

If anyone wants them I will post as is, otherwise moving on.

Well here it is…

The first ever legit SR90 Very Easy non-pet based build according to myself and everyone I know playing grim Dawn.

Scores 8+ with less than perfect affixes.

Now I can be done… well, until the expansion anyway.

  • Conjurer Vit/Bleed Solo SR90 Very Easy (See OP for link)

Did you happen to find my shadowbanned youtube comments/concerns with Lokarr while you were farming Dark One set for the new build?

Did not, Strange that comments about a game would be banned. Whats wrong with Lokarr?

Not sure why they went through with the pet nerfs I pointed out some time ago. Looks like Conjurers are again the favorite.

I assume these builds are still best in their given class, but I don’t think I will re-test. Assume add 0.5 to SR36 times and subtract the same for Conjurers as they got yet another boost.

Which one of these would you suggest for someone like me who hasn’t played in quite some time and lost all my characters, so I want to rebuild my stash a little before the new Expansion but idk what to play. I’m not a piano player, so I like lazy builds. I don’t mind farming I just like to play and spend as little time in town as possible. I also need to prob find a build guide because I’m a super casual. If you had to make a suggestion knowing that very limited info, what would you suggest? Thank you.

I would say Witch Hunter pets. Very powerful with any random pet gear drops.

Shadow Strike combined with a dash augment (Rylok Wings at level 90) is the fastest MI farmer by far. You can farm MI’s for all other characters in half the time. Even at very endgame most of your necessary MI’s come from running mini-bosses.

Once you have a MI farmer the Conjurer is more OP then before the patch and requires no experience to do well. Conjurer is also one of the slowest MI farmers with no dash skill.

All these posted builds are best in class and can handle a SR36 with ease. I did not include the pet Conjurer as it’s a simple cookie cutter build you can find anywhere.

So, start with a witch hunter, level it to 100, then use it to farm other stuff? I’m going to start there and see how it goes. That’ll keep me busy for a bit. Thanks again!

Edit: I’m leveling it now. In what order would you do devotions?

With all, base damage before percent to damage. 1,000% of nothing is still nothing.

Only 1 point in other skills until all in Hellhound and Familar are maxed. The supporting class (Nightblade) should be pushed beyond 1 point in all skills very last.

You don’t need level 100 to farm. I’m not exactly sure, but level 94 gear drops around level 90. I would not farm items until they drop at max level (94).

There is nothing worse than getting a perfect MI drop that’s level 84 when it could have been 94.

You will need more storage. Have multiple transfer.gst files organized outside the game. Required if you ever want more than one character. The devs expect you to do this as it is not prevented in any way and can be swapped in game.

NOTE: Never use an editor. The fun is 100% about getting that ultra rare drop. Plus legit gets respect online. Just saying, you don’t sound like you ever would.

You might want to take a look at

if you’re looking for a build guide for leveling.

Shepherd’s Call and Fiend so you can start leveling up the skills right away. Then Tortoise and Stag. You will need temp Jackal to get Rattosh and temp Hawk to get Bysmisl’s Bonds. 3 in Crown, Ulo, Typhos, Panther, Ishtak, and 1 in Wolverine for pet pierce resistance.
I think that’s correct from memory. Basically get constellations with skills asap so they can level up.

For the MI gear I may run the boss more than once at low level only to get the basic drop. Sometimes they drop an alternate. Otherwise any pet gear can substitute for the build until you find the correct items.

The “correct” build gear makes you end-game powerful, not necessarily required to beat the campaign. You can also swap any affix long as you have proper resistances in the end.

These builds are all in-game-drops so in many cases you may find better. It’s the gear, not the quality so you can be even more powerful with some luck.

Have fun, hope to see you online!

As stated in the other thread’s title the builds are their opinions of what are the best classes to do certain things. The same applies here with Automator’s; they’re just their opinion on what is best to do certain things.

I’m at L100 now yay! But I just barely noticed on your ring “Bysmiel Authority” you don’t have an augment. You have atephs on one ring and irrahs patience on the other.

Thank you again!

Must have missed it. Augments are for pet resistances and will vary depending on what you find on other gear.
These are what I use:
Ateph’s Will - Bleeding
Sylvarria’s Essence - Poison/Acid
Mender’s Powder - Aether/Chaos
Ravager’s Eye - Player Defensive Ability

If resistances are not needed:
Coven’s Wit - Damage
Irrah’s Patience maybe if health is poor. That may be the only time I used it and would swap out for an Ateph’s Will.

I have an identical Which Hunter build that uses: Ravarger’s Eye, Coven’s Wit, Sylvarria’s Essence, and X2 Ateph’s Will.
Only needed 1 Ateph’s Will for pet bleed resistance, so it’s just for player armor/health and pet attack speed.

I will replace the Witch Hunter link with the new one. Had to build a new one to kill Ugdall, required to farm Enslaved Wraith.

Awesome ty for the quick reply. But tbh the build/class is very strong without it being perfect, so now I see what you were saying. I’m still using lokar 4 piece and 2 leo rings with random stuff mixed in I find (and it still works fine at L100). Nothing crazy but if it’s not broke, no point in fixing it until I get to FG and start farming the rest of the stuff. I was trying to rush AoM on ult then switch to FG. I’ve only died 3 or 4 times so really, it’s pretty darn strong, well the pets are haha. And those deaths were from me challenging the avatar of modgroden or w/e his name is, and he got me.

Oh, do you know the fastest way to get nemesis with deaths vigil? (from your pet MI farming video)

Thanks again!

Run Tomb of Archon Barthollem. If you don’t want to restart then include Fort Ikon Armory and Fort Haron.
I hope you saw in the description for the MI run video to swap Tomb of Archon for Fort Haron. Fort Haron also spawns the nemesis and drops the Death-Watcher Pendant. You will just have to kill everything, because they’re less mobs.

I did “some” testing after the patch and these were the best with similar damage:
Witch Hunter, Warlock, Deciever, Pyromanceer, Conjurer, Cabalist
Just a few SR runs each to quick test.

Looks like one of my favorites, the Archon may be moved to the SR36 Lesser Builds list. I’ll test it more later and see if it can be fixed.

I’m currently farming bargoll. Also, I ran Tomb of Archon and got no DV exp, I looked at the faction before and after (was during the KC quest for ashes or w/e). I’ll try the fort ikon armory too.

Edit: Nvm I’m an idiot the spot I went was called tomb of korvak.

Also, that Bargolls club is godly. I haven’t found anything close, going on 40+ runs now lol. GD hehe.

2nd Edit: So, my only real roadblock now is the Bysmiel set pieces. What is the easiest/ most efficient way to get those? I haven’t even got 1 to drop yet and I’ve been farming FG like a madman trying to get a perfect helm. No dice but I’ve hit like 100+ totems and killed a lot of bosses (was farming temple of sethan first boss quickly). Oh and how do I go about getting ryloks wings?

Anything purple like Bysmiel set and blueprints like Rune of the Dark Progenitor are quickest farming SR30.

Chosen Visage I would farm Tomb of Sethan and Sunward Spire.
