It was bad… and the ‘search’ was one of the reasons why, imo, it was truly bad. Near useless.
Discourse search tho? It’s good. Google-level good. And so fucking ez to use.

Well no big deal, I just tweaked some stuff myself. Still not done but should be able to get it where I want it.
Oh. Its look like this for me. I’m using Chrome btw but tried in Firefox and Edge to same result also.
Also, found out that you can actually just paste photo copied from snipping tools in Win10. It will automatically upload to the forum. Just how it should be

Can you disable that CTRL+F launches Discourse’s forum search? Sometimes you need the browser’s text search, and for that I currently need to navigate via my browser’s menu.

Does this forum do not have a way to calculate views of directly attached files?
I have uploaded several types of files to my thread, but I can’t figure out which file is preferred because I don’t know the number of views for each.
As the previous forum displayed the number of views of the attached file, that part was useful.
I am sorry to say but change feels horrible to me.
Forum loads much slower
No way to easy mark and find posts because no more pages
I live in China, external internet is slow there, it was ok with old version of forum, now loading posts can take very long time

Interesting, because for me it has been loading much much faster. 
It’s actually slower for me too. Might be because of my weak PC, but the old one needed something about less than two or three seconds, this one takes even up to 5 and more. Again, might be my PC, and I don’t really care about load times.
PC… or shite internet… or both in tandem. Loads lickety split for me. The only time it loaded slow for me was the other day on my phone while connected to a friends hotspot and I was just at the edge of his hotspot range with like maybe 1 bar. Then I had to wait for loading for a good 10 seconds.

My users hardly respond to the polls. Since they only download files, I can only guess the trend from that number.
Well, if the file is linked to external storage then the view count will be displayed and I will use it.

hmm, see if that does it, just removed the |attachment from the dragged in file, should download a txt file
EDIT: seems to require an external link 
EDIT2: taking the first edit back, it just takes a couple mins to show, so it works

My internet is not the issue, that’s for sure. 100 mb/s and every website loads under 3 seconds, except for YT and twitch, which both are fucked to the death. The last time I connected a quite good laptop to this internet by Wifi, it had around 30 mb/s internet and websites loaded instantly (not literally). It was before the new forum. My internet is not the issue, that’s for sure.

Is there some option on our end (or your end) to make links open in new tabs by default? This worked in the old forums for me but I don’t recall if I had to configure that manually.

it’s not very easy to use.
please revert back to the old style, or give the option to do so.
