Almost $50k now…I plan to do $375 for sure, if possible I’d like to go for the $1k if I can swing it, but I know with you guys it’ll be well worth it. I don’t think you’ll have any trouble reaching and exceeding your goals, as a fellow programmer you already know I’m behind you all. ;]
I’ve put a link up on my site as well as the TQ Defiler news feed, hopefully we’ll break some records and blow away what your team has for expectations. All of this past time spent on the game, you definitely deserve everything you can get to make it the best it can be. You’ve always had my vote.
Good to know, thank you. It’s a little irksome that latecomers get a reward I don’t, when my money was donated a year and a half ago, but it’s no big deal I suppose. Just a silly little medal, after all.
Don’t worry too much, you get a better version in the form of the TBA in game accessory included in the pre-order version. Those items will be far more exclusive than the Kickstarter medals.
Oh! My mistake sir, I should brush up on my reading comprehension. Perhaps a stately golden walking cane, or a jewel-encrusted monocle? The flair of those combined with the powdered wig would increase my majesty exponentially.
I know its early for this but…will the expansion have its own key or just get linked to the main Grim Dawn key. I’m thinking about going from Legendary to Hoarder Edition so 3 game keys total. Does that mean I’ll get 3 keys for the expansion too?
Seems for a case like this passion funding is a more apt term than kickstarter, but who cares as long as it gets us an even better game. Disregarding subscription based games, well actually only World of Warcraft, this is the game I’ve thrown the most money after.
I like the presentation video, nice to have a face to the project and it helps that the game still looks great.
I have a question…if we have the $32 epic version, any chance we can have it count towards the $35 Kickstarted reward? If so, I might be convinced to get the $35 kickstarter tier, since my epic account was a gift from a friend.
Hoarder’s edition has 2 keys, but if you upgrade from Legendary, one of those is the one you already have, so you actually only end up with the 2. You do get expansions for both of them though.
It’s ok, I wasn’t really looking for an extra. Odds are i’ll give my epic edition to my mate and get the $35 kickstarter for myself lol I was just wondering. In fact…you know what? Don’t do that lol least not for me. I can’t imagine the logistics you guys are having to deal with because of all this. I’d hate to add to it lol
I do notice that if you get the epic (32$) edition from Crates website, you get your name in the credits, while only the $50 and up kickstarter tiers get their name in the credits lol
Wow, I knew this was being discussed, but I guess I hadn’t realized you were ready to go. This awesome. I’m not sure how much more over the Legendary I can go based on other recent KS campaigns, but I’ll be spreading the word for sure at the very least. Hopefully this momentum carries you forward to the goal and beyond.
You sir, are awesome! Also, you have set the high bar to beat.
I guess in the same vein…if you get the $375 but already have a legendary key, this means you get a physical copy of the game…and 3 additional keys? Does this mean you get 4 copies of the first DLC expansion free?
Would there be a possibility of closed servers if people pledge more than a certain amount? If so, I highly suggest you include it in your kickstarter site.
