Build Comment: As requested, I have completed another Warhammer 40k Primarch Build. This build is made after Vulkan, Primarch of the Salamanders.
This character started out as a Commando using Shar’Zul’s Worldeater simply to try and capitalize on the built-in Physical /Fire
Damage and the +2 to all skills to both classes. After including the Justicar Guard and Judicator’s Seals Sets, the build was well on it’s way! Tossing on a Shambler’s Heart and a Balthazar’s Crest helped to push up Temper to the max cap.
After getting that in line, I focused on pushing the character’s defenses as high as I could get them and I wanted to use Light of Empyrion for a Devotion as I have never made a build using it. The Devotion skill is perfect having a nice mix of Physical /Fire
Damage as well as 24% Reduced target’s Damage. This meant I would not have to use the clunky War Cry for defense and could instead place those points into skills that provided more damage. The overall Devotion path was a bit tricky and I went through several iterations until I landed on the final one here.
Since I was extremely limited in my ADCtH options, I decided to focus on Health Regeneration instead. Menhir’s Bulwark was perfect with the Damage Absorption, Physical Damage and the huge amount of Health Regen. That combined with Veterancy and Vindictive Flame help to keep Vulkan up with his regenerative abilities. Throw in Giant’s Blood when Blast Shield gets triggered and he can regen his way back up in no time. I added in Turtle Shell for an extra layer of protection and it certainly paid off. The funny thing was that I had not known about his regenerative nature and just went with it when fine-tuning the character. It worked out pretty well I must say!
To get the necessary #Flair I used the Markovian’s Bastion Set to try and match that stunning green scale and gold armor Vulkan wears. Unfortunately, my Venomfang character was using that and I try not to duplicate looks, so I changed Venomfang (for the better!) and uploaded a new picture for that post. To finish the look I used a Barthollem’s Warmaul and the Zealot’s Gauntlets for the gloves to give it a light touch of Gold. I think it came out just great! Wooo!
I don’t recall what other WH40K Primarchs I am supposed to make and I will have to ask my son and get working on it. Perhaps I can put together a God Emperor character as well! I’m thinking it would be a Physical /Bleeding
Primal Strike Archon with that Golden Lightning effects and Golden Empyrion Bros. It might just work!
Vulkan standing over one of his fallen sons, ready to bring his down righteous wrath against the enemies of the Imperium!
