Settlement Showcase - Share your creations!

My first big settlement. I called it “Ubersreik” due to being a Warhammer Fantasy fan.

Doesn’t look that special. Will surely do more amazing ones in the future, once I learned the game entirely

I get so much inspiration from these posts, so figured I’d share some of my own screenshots:

Grindlewood. Peaceful mode in Lowland Lake territory. Trying to take time to beautify it, even though I am itching to try this map with raiders (I haven’t played with raiders since the new mechanics came out!)
Population 900 and growing.

Where the town began. Took several hours planning a road grid before any houses went down.

A view of the orchards in the distance

Farming and food processing area. I never leave enough space for all the storehouses.

Left enough space for landscaping here! Not entirely happy with how the landscaping around the theater turned out, but it’ll do!

insert request for blending small plazas up to the base of walls

Basket factory to the left, cemetery and monuments in the center, a yet-to-be landscaped town center in the background.

Schoolhouse with educational gardens.

Library and a Labyrinth

Some general appreciation for the beauty of this game.

And a rogue horse enjoying the library gardens.

LOL you let chickens in the palace?

His Lordship has expressed a fondness for chicken at the dinner table.

My well developed Barcelona! Year ~140, one main settlement here.

I have a few more photos but it’s only letting me upload/embed one as a new user.

Lovely and interesting landscaping! Pictures like these prove that even though the game uses a grid, it’s still possible to create organic-looking towns with lots of creative flair. It just requires thinking outside the box!

BTW you can get all the info off of your screenshot by pressing ] before you press F12 to take the pic.

Very nice!

Love these small bays.
Rivers and bridges would skyrocket this game in terms of visuals

Here are some shots of my biggest town yet, 4500 people after 85 years. The game is very laggy at 3x speed. its been great pushing the limits of the game, but I am one raid away from starvation. I lose about 40/50% of my harvest to crop rot no matter how close the storage is or how many workers there are. I have had 2 major out breaks of small pox, first killing 500 people, they second killing 750ish people. my biggest raid was 600+ raiders on the gold mountain.
custom setting are on the last screenshot. Idyllic valley seed:6C37A66B66

Here’s one of my temple complexes. I like building these late game. I’d love a grassy area so I can use that instead of the graveyards…

Mate you are relaying too heavy on fields.Make more barns and your food problem will be solved…Cows gives insane amount of food.

I always try to make my cities as green as possible  Welcome to Cucurbitacity. Such a shame for my inhabitants that the game does not offer (yet?) the opportunity to harvest cucurbitacaes!

Wolverton, about year 80, pop 3800+ vanquisher enemies

fiddled around with the seed, gave meself lots of resource nodes

didn’t use any templates just grew organically trying to lump industries, preserve desirability, and reduce travel time

largest raid was around 530-540, smallpox contributed to the graveyard

pelts and stone were the limiting factors

Wolverton flyover

I love the curved farms!

When you are really producing lots and lots of bricks, but your people upgrade all at the same time.
