Suggestions for Preparing for Celestials?

I’ve been following mad_lee’s guide on the Blitz Warlord and am wondering if there are any improvements I can make prior to taking on Celestials? I’m having some trouble getting resistances and am not sure what the best way to shore them up is. Any other pointers would be appreciated. Gyrfalcon’s Blitz Warlord

You have some DA+hp augments, those you can switch

Also, you need to get more OA to proc assasins mark, respec your attributes to get more cunning.

You can remove one point you have in Obelisk to get aether and chaos res node in empyrion which will free up more armor augment options

The guide for the warlord stacks Cunning for OA and has a very specific affix setup to cap resistances. It’ll take a bunch of Ugdenblooms and quaffing skill and attribute respec potions but it’s possible to redo components on your existing gear to get enough overcaps to be comfortable.

I’ve only fought Ravager and Callagadra but 3400 OA and 2800 DA are good thresholds to hit to be able to crit a little bit and avoid crits while stacking OA and DA debuffs on the celestials.

Thanks! I hadn’t realized how min-max this build was with the MIs. As many tries as it took me to get the ones I’ve got, we’ll see how much appetite I have for more farming.

You don’t need 3,4k% physical damage for celestials. You can reduce that number a bit. Also for celestials, all resistances overcapped are not needed.

You may already have seen this, but in case you haven’t, @modal has created a spreadsheet that can be used to calculate the probability of getting MIs with various affixes How to determine the drop chance for an MI w/ specific affixes

I sometimes use it to get an estimate of how long a farm it might be to get a given affix or affix combo.

The MIs in Lee’s build are single-rare, so not insanely hard to get, but it could still be quite a journey.

also rember that 90% of the builds posted here are GDstashed/cheated just to demonstrate what the most optimal builds can do in hands of very skilled and experienced players

I have killed celestials with way less “impressive” blitz builds in the past, not in 2 minutes though
