If you are wiling to sacrifice a bit of DA, you can instead go with Mythical Necrolord’s Shroud and achive the same result without changing Spark of Ultos.

More attack speed = More attacks = more damage 
I am not sure at which point Crit damage outweighs atk spd, but more of both is good. Also, more cast speed = more lightning strikes.
I believe the Familiar’s normal “attack” scales with cast speed.

is Salazar’s Sovereign Blade the best weapon for the budget build? because there is the elite legion voidcutter and claw of hagaraz, can you rank these 3 weapons?
Salazar’s provides an extra pet and if you can roll Heretic’s Prefix, you can get a 26/16 familiar as a bonus.
VoidCutter has too much cooldown and is an on hit proc with a 15% chance. I don’t like it.
Claw is ok, but I still prefer a good Salazar’s.
So, Salazar’s > Claw > Voidcutter imo.
So Just a quick update on my picachu hybrid build Maya. I cant even beat crucible 170. I’m not sure if that’s just my build or because my devotions for Natures Guardian and Healing rain are still level 1. It’s a let-down.
Are you using Blessings/banner?
You can also try the Mogdrogen based devotion setup in my Budget Build. It is more offensive oriented.
If your pets are dying, then you will have to fix their resistances, which will require sacrifice elsewhere.
Or is it a specific enemy/wave that is giving you trouble?
Even with Ishtak/Tree at lvl 1, you should still be able to finish Crucible :undecided:
No i’m not using any blessings or banner. The Briarthorn is the only one that seems to go down pretty quick. I may just move to your build. I do have a question though, why Cataclysm’s eye over a different off-hand? is it just for that 1+ to all skills?
Yeah, no blessings/banner runs require one to invest a bit more in defense than you’d otherwise will.
Cat’s Eye has the +1 to skills, chaos res and more importantly stun res. Ingame, my stun res is capped at 80% (GT shows avg values) and that kind of helps tremendously for both no banner/blessing crucible and even more in SR 75+

Go with the one you like. It doesn’t make any notable difference.
I started out my conjurer with the goal of following one of the builds here, but along the way I got items that allowed me to focus un primal spirit, so I went for that.

This is my build. So, I’m still not entirely familiar with the game mechanics, but isn’t a 22/12 permanent primal spirit(less than 1s downtime) with 30% increased attack speed a good trade-off for the heart of the mountain pet and the +1 skills from the cataclysm off-hand?
Also, not quite sure, but with the two rings and the weapon my damage is now almost entirely elemental, mainly lightning, right?
and another thing, is there any difference between the elite and the ultimate version of celestials (avatar/ravager/calla) in terms of toughness? their grimtools entry is the same for both difficulties. and you get the legendary versions of their MIs on elite as well.
I can’t comment on how the build will perform since it is too different from all my versions.
But if you can get both HoM Yeti pet + Primal Spirit, it will be better than going for only P.Spirit. However there are other things to consider such as Will of Bysmiel providing 100% reduced manacost for P.spirit, the extra chaos res, etc.
Bound Wraith can be substituted for Cat’s Eye, but you will be losing a bit of Chaos and Stun res, which will come in handy in higher SR shards and if you plan on doing naked Crucible runs.
Yes, your damage will be mostly lightning with a bit of elemental.
Probably the normal Hp scaling that every other monster gets. I am not too sure on this as I have only tried the ultimate versions of Celestials.
This looks pretty similar to my conjurer build. I prefer Heart of the Mountain and Cataclysm’s Eye.
