Really? Ravager seems to be about the same to me.
oh, just noticed that…
yeah… I don’t think it is worth trying to kill supes on fluffy while using altar.
Ye, I assume it may have to do with my pets chilling inside the blood pools ![]()
ya agreess, not worth it trying to kill super bosses with altar on.
saw a player built n down the uber beaver boss, not sure is it authentic? any comment?
Haven’t dwelled that much in acended bonuses but it seems to me it’s cherry picked by help of gd stash and not really doable possible “that fast” to get them.
I tried rerolling affix feature and that alone is also hard to come by, after 20 rerolls u can forget about next reroll cuz price gone up by 5000%. xD
I honestly can’t say without a video
.
Nerfatal (the secret boss) is kind of unique compared to everything else we have, even compared to Crate boss.
- It does not care for the player’s defenses - it will one shot you if you try to facetank it.
- Its arena is smaller even compared to Crate’s and what little kiting room there is, shrinks further as the fight goes on, due to the large blood pools.
- You need to dodge pretty much every single one of its attacks (autoattacks notwithstanding).
- It is also a DPS-check, because between its insane damage reduction, self-heal and lifesteal, if you cannot clear the dps threshold, winning is impossible even if you fight it for multiple hours.
Now, I know it can be killed and it has been. For example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_Fa7k6tjRU
I just don’t know how to do it with pets. Because with the non pet builds, damage is consistent since the player is the sole source of every bit of DPS. Same also goes for survivability I guess, since you have the boss’s undivided attention. That makes it easier to control the fight.
But with pet builds, every single downtime for each pet adds upto loss in both DPS and potential survivability issues. You need to keep the pets alive, micro them out of blood pools and maintain pet aggro/leash range while also trying your best not to die and you cannot rely on LifeLeech for the player, so if you don’t get 1 shot, you still are at the mercy of heals and regen.
All this combined, it is a nightmare to actually fight the thing with pets. Even more so with the Uber version’s massive HP…
Now, I am not saying that it cannot be done with pets. But I certainly lack the ability to do so
.
DLC is so new and possibilities are huge now… once we touch the bonuses on purples by legit means, I think the rest will be history. ![]()
Probably, yeah. I am avoiding testing with any ascendant bonus on gear for now. Same with HP/mana potions - using the default ones.
Managed with Bysmiel Conjurer, took like 4 tries and with about 3 ascended items
The Uber version?
Is there a video? I need to learn how to pilot vs this boss
.
I was frantically hitting buttons and dodging pools, pure luck. No Vid. had high DPS and resist reduction

Feel free to test this build against it if you are willing to. Also these if it ends up being purely a dps issue - Conjurer, Level 100 (GD 1.3.0.0) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator & Cabalist, Level 100 (GD 1.3.0.0) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
I also have half a mind to GDStash -res on Curse, on all items as ascendant bonus… but I will hold off on that for now ![]()
…if everything else fails - Conjurer, Level 100 (GD 1.3.0.0) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
Sorry, another stupid question about the Eyes of Mogdrogen… ![]()
Does the new Mogdrogen only drop his head in Ascendant? Unless I’m doing something wrong on GT, it appears to say he drops it in every difficulty, even in Normal lol…
Oh, wow that’s awesome! Great job!
That fight looks super difficult. oof…
Ah, dang… I wish I could help you test this too, but unfortunately I don’t have all the items needed. I still haven’t even finished farming the weapon/belt for the current build. ><
Good luck to you all!
Ah, that’s a good question. I did it in ascendant because I was worried it would be a one-time only fight but now I know for sure that’s not the case.
I just went and killed him in ultimate so I can confirm: He does drop the eyes in ultimate difficulty too.
EDIT: I haven’t actually finished FoA in normal mode yet, so I can’t say for sure. But if grim tools isn’t specifying difficulty for the drop, then it probably does. That’s awesome if it’s true!
No idea, I only have him unlocked on ultimate/ascendant ![]()
I can send you my save files ![]()
Ah, that’d be great! I’d love to test them against the boss. (I can already hear myself running around screaming trying not to die, lol) Is there anything I need to do on my end for this?
I assume after, I just put them in the main save section in the grim dawn folder?
Yup, just like all your other saves and make sure the paths are correct once you extract the zip files ![]()
Example -
Ok, I got it all set up. Going to start now. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Here’s to the mountain of deaths in my future, lol o7
(and thank you again!)
killed the non-uber version in ascendant with your first build, but I’m not too sure how to fight the uber version. When I warp back and go to the door it says it’s locked and that it’s still “in session”
