not to me, GD is much harder. TQ gets harder towards the end of Normal, but once you are in the next higher difficulty, everything is easy, mobs and bosses do not keep up with the player’s power progression at all.
Also, the TQ bosses are not harder than the GD ones. If you have smooth sailing until the superbosses, that is because you have so much gear amassed by now, that definitely is not true for your first chars.
last i tried it before atlantis was released, the explosion rune works with normal staff attack and psi touch, so maybe ternion works with explosion rune too. this is useful for fire/physical staff autoattacker build.
Quite the opposite for me, just made a few new characters a while ago (new save game) and honestly didn’t have any difficulties at any point of the game. Gd gives you more tools to handle the difficulty than tq. Most gd bosses are easier and especially much faster to kill than tq bosses. At least the ones that you meet in campaign playthrough.
I feel like they buffed the hero monsters quite a lot again in latest patch. I wish i could see detailed patch notes for everything that was changed.
maybe they changed a lot with TQAE, but before that the TQ bosses all were pushovers, most died within a few sec, the rest in maybe 30 sec. Haven’t played TQ in a while, so do not know what it is like now
As far as I know it means you can use hotkey skills in the same way you use the LMB/RMB ones. In the disc game and AE if you use a hotkey skill a targeting icon appears which you then have to position on your target to be able to hit it. Quick cast means you should be able to point the cursor on the target, hit hotkey and the skill activates without the extra targeting steps.
Definitley the new bosses are harder to Kill, Typhon is still a pushover but the Atlantis bosses are harder, playing on a new char, not very optimized:eek:
I think Crate should sue Titan Quest right now, shattered realms copycat plus eldritch realms are also copied in some way !
I still to this day don’t understand how people can say Typhon is a pushover because I have always had extreme trouble with that boss regardless of the build I’m playing.
Well, I guess that means Blizzard can sue Crate for stealing the greater rifts idea for SR.
I wouldn’t myself, not for a first character. If you don’t was a straight up Conqueror you could try Templar (Defense/Dream), Warden (Hunting/Defense) or Corsair (Rogue/Defense).
I am not sure how responsive the current devs of TQ are. And I wonder if they have a Zantai on board? But really right now I dont care much about the development of their game . Id rather be pestering Crate as they are more responsive even if all Zantai’s does is to say “no” everytime
They have a community manager who basically does the same on their forums as Zantai does for the GD ones - interacts with the community. His username is Zyddie and he’s on the Steam forum and the titanquestfans.net discord among others. Plus if you find any bugs or have feedback to give to THQNordic then please use this public redmine to do so.
@el critico
you live up to the name lol
I was very eager to play atlantis, but just fiddling with the gambling got a me an epic staff with “+1 to all skills in invalid skillprofile name” XD and that was it for me. I can tolerate the still existing rubberbanding, tolerate the unoptimized DX11, tolerate the reskins and i have finished ragnarok even though it had no correlation to TQ in manyways. only then i found about the messed up loot table, which I can tolerate too, NOW a broken item??!
now tell me isometric arpg freaks, what is most important in an isometric arpg?
is it graphics? sound? story? level design? or…is it is it perhaps PROPER LOOT?
now it is obvious they are only after money, they don’t care at all. they are far far away from crate. because they are probably not arpg players.
i hope they spend time on fixing than new dlcs - _-
Because he drops dead a few seconds after I enter his arena, with me not needing any health or mana potions (or at least he used to, haven’t tried in TQAE).
