[Tool] Grim Internals (v1.1.9.8 only)

Update v1.41a

  • small bug fixes for the new renderText() routine:
  • monster names are now hidden if you open a conversation window
  • some monster names are now more aligned to their body
    (Great Raven, Stormhound, Nemesis, Arkovian Rocktalon, Arkovian Plaguebeak)

Works like a charm for me!

Update v1.42

  • small bug fixes for the new renderText() routine

  • buffs and debuffs in the InfoBox are now localized

  • the text size in the InfoBox can be changed (default: size 16)
    add following line to the file ā€œGrimInternals.iniā€ under [Settings]
    e.g.: InfoBoxFontSize=24

  • and some other things I forgotā€¦

It does not work!? GD is not starting!?

Try to delete ā€œGrimInternals.iniā€ in the Grim Dawn folder
and start GrimInternals again.
Do you have the Steam or GoG Version?

If the problem persists, send me a PM with your GrimInternals.ini attached. Iā€™ll look into the issue you have.

Ok, it seems there are some issues with v1.42.
I have removed it and Iā€™ll look what Iā€™ve doneā€¦

If you canā€™t start the tool, please tell me which Windows version you have.
Iā€™ve tested it on Windows 10!

If you want the localized monster names, be sure to uncheck ā€œUseOldTextStyleā€ in the Configurator!

some tips:

  • If you want the localized monster names, be sure to uncheck ā€œUseOldTextStyleā€ in the Configurator!
  • If youā€™ve never used localization files before, you have to restart Grim Dawn to take effect.

Iā€™ve reduced the alpha value of the InfoBox rectangle (background color) to 0.1 in v1.42

btw, canā€™t tell from the pic because the enemy mob is at low life, but would it be possible to use a different style of hp bar for enemies than for allies? being able to distinguish is a pretty big deal for mp or summoner play.

Also i meant if you could ad the opacity config in the ini so we could change it ourselves.
Man i cant thank you enough for, it was the only thing missing from the game.
Plz if you manage to do it,give us the option to enable/disable for players,MPs and monsters like you did before.(also colors <3)
The old healthbars system with numbers and ASCII chars will be obsolete after this? The color of healthbar will work with the 3 or four different colors depending of the monster HP%?
