Cā€™mon guys, I feel honored, but honestly said, thereā€™re not many users out there, who make use of this tool.
So I donā€™t think itā€™s necessary to make this thread sticky.

Most ppl loved the idea of autopick+combine cause its gets messy in game with many monsters. Now with the healthbars in the future im sure even more will use it.
Just ask everyone about the healthbars. Lets say someone creates a new thread saying :
We are thinking of adding healthbars on monsters what do you guys think?
Should we add this or its useless?
How many ppl say its useless? None,if there is an option to disable them too

And here we arenow, especially when you have the option to customizing so many things you added on your tool
The only small issue that some might find is that this thread gets drowned in this section with mods etc and that there are many updates of the tool and ppl miss out the new features

No, I have no plans to implement an auto-update function.

You can change the width, height, color of the healthbar for Player, Pets, Monster and Multiplayer separately.

I cant wait, looks amazing man
I might add tho that the configurator might need some rework with some visuals, im no expert tho so i cant help on that :confused:

This version is only a test version. The final version will be published after the Easter holidays, when Iā€™m back from vacation!

Update v1.43

  • added graphical healthbars for player, pets, multiplayer and monster
  • the old ASCII-HealthBar is now obsolete and has been removed
  • added new parameter to the config file:
    -> HideHealthBars=False // disables/enables all health bars
    -> NamesFontSize=20 // the size of the font used for the player/pets/monster names
    -> InfoBoxBackGround.A=0.200 // here you can define the opacity of the InfoBox background
    -> AlwaysShowBossName=True // if enabled, bosses show always their name, regardless if have ticked the ā€˜Hide Namesā€™ checkbox

Installation:
Copy the content (2 files) of the zip file to your Grim Dawn folder and
start Grim Internals once and exit the tool.

This will create a new config file with default parameters in your Grim Dawn folder.

If you want to change the colors for the healthBars,
open a text editor, load the config file ā€œGrimInternals.iniā€
and look i.e. for the entry [HealthBarPlayer]
There youā€™ll find following settings:

Width=50 // the healthBar width measured in pixel
Height=10 // same goes for the height
Green.R=0.063 // Here you can change the RGB and Alpha values of the colors used for the healthBar
Green.G=0.918 // Green: player hp >= 66%, or player hp >= 75% (for the 4 color scheme)
Green.B=0.365
Green.A=1.000
Yellow.R=1.000 // Yellow: hp 33-65%, or hp 50-74% (4 color scheme)
Yellow.G=0.960
Yellow.B=0.170
Yellow.A=1.000
Orange.R=0.950 // Orange: hp 25-49% (only for 4 color scheme)
Orange.G=0.640
Orange.B=0.300
Orange.A=1.000
Red.R=1.000 // Red: hp 00-32%, or hp 00-24% (4 color scheme)

Attention: If you want to change the colors, use only float values within a range from 0.0 and 1.0 !

I tried to add a background picture and some visuals a while ago,
but Grim Dawn crashed as soon as I opened the configurator window.
Nothing I can do about it, yet!

excellent work glocken, this is just what iā€™d wanted since the beginning!

unfortunately i am noticing more lag when there are lots of units on the screen. havenā€™t crashed yet, but iā€™ll try a sot run later and report in :slight_smile: itā€™s more likely my end, anyways. my system is getting pretty old

i really love the total customisability of it. hereā€™s my current setup, distinguishing against allies and enemies with green and red, respectively. instead of changing the barā€™s colour as their health changes, it changes the opacity (alpha) instead, giving the hp the ā€œappearanceā€ of fading!

my only request here would be if the hp bar could be centered above the unit, instead of floating slightly off to the right. otherwise, thank you thank you so much! hope you enjoy your vacation :heart::heart:

Holy shit i love the customization man its amazing!!
The colors, the alpha and the opacity, omg just amazing man

The only thing that hurts this is the names not being in the center of the healthbar of the players, but yeh i remember you told me about the limitations:/

One more thing, can we have one more line in the ini for each healthbar opacity(empty line of the healthbar? you know that black line behind the color, the empty space

Also add a small reference In game what version the tool is :smiley:(small transparent word like V1,43)

Try to disable all options that you donā€™t need, especially combat log and disable the .csv saving. But displaying all the infos and healthbars each frame cost some cpu-power.

There is not much I can do about it at the moment.
Itā€™s because the heath bar coordinates are 2D based, but the unit is rendered in a 3D world. Canā€™t promise that I can fix this in a future version.

You can now change the opacity in the .ini file.
