Oh I didn’t even know that. Crap.
The bug with the remaining Corvan statue image seems not to have been fixed in the hotfix.
What about that for 1.1.5.2?
Um, wish granted since that’s what Allminoxy already said.
- As soon as Necro has all damage reduction on Ill Omen, it would make sense to change Decay for smth more useful (like OA/DA shredd)
- As I wrote in separate topic, Mythical Anderos’ Amplifier needs cast speed, because Mythical Dawnshard Grip for 1 extra mortar doesn’t have cast speed too. Though mortars don’t need cast speed, other skills do, and a lack of cast speed makes gameplay very clunky. Also 4% as for caster gun would be nice
- New enemies are a little unbalanced in SR being stronger then others.
Edit:
4. Please speed up BWC animation
RE is borderline…overly strong (probably the reason that necro doesn’t see much stat extras of late). So this might mean the main skill takes a hit…
The third nod works only on death, damage reduction area from the second nod is small. As a main source of damage RE is good only with heavy item support, otherwise it’s a nice additional skill for DPS
Yes, I finally remembered it.
Could we have the conversions back on Curse of Burrwich, Frigid Quillbreath and Arachnid’s Embrace? It’d open up some soldier options for the early-mid levels. Also on The Conduit.
Happy as always to see new content - but I was sad to see the pet summon apparently removed from the “of binding” rare offhand suffix, as I had spent literally hundreds of hours farming a “… bound wraith of binding” and liked the pet/buff it gave.
I think that first hotfix fixed some of the most obnoxious issues and my proposals will not be often related to this patch. Although I could think of something like:
-
Mortars conduit: Since it have no purpose currently, please make it have some creativity. Like pierce or Col mortar.
-
Empowered essence of Beronath: You can remove the flat damage and make % damage to 35% all and return the plus skills. So it will be cheap alternative but not really BiS in any build.
-
Rothgeist set. I tried spamming DEE. Dreeg set can’t do it because of vitality to acid conversion. But see even if you take filler skills and use it on nuke you’ll not have enough energy. I tried spamming DEE Sentinel. Virtue and all jewels slots covered by energy components and still tough to harness the consumption.
So please add some energy regeneration.
Add a vitality resist suffix to conduits. It bothers me every time I see that it isn’t there but every other resist is.
If people think Korvaak is lacking what sort of improvements would make it a more appealing devotion?
Possibly more damage on the proc. The problem is the only time i’ve wanted to take it is if I already have the required points e.g Ultos + Dying God/Aeon, and it’s usually not possible to pick up all the nodes.
I see it as more of a nice bonus if you’re already in that area than something you intentionally build towards.
Short of putting a damage type to Korvaak we’re only going to see an increase in the % which excludes casters from considering it if the damage of the proc is the tipping point in choosing or not choosing the devotion. More damage would certainly shunt Korvaak towards a purpose (damage proc and OA for builds with big weapon damage) we could also look at its other stats and ask if they are at all deserving of an increase.
For instance: +90% total across all its nodes. Doubling each instance gives us the 180% expected of a typical T3 devotion. Being a generic devotion I can understand why it’s only half the expected value. When the devotion is wrapped up in a niche color combination and is somewhat light on stats for its nodes we’ve got players not seeing enough in it to consider building towards it.
10 green 18 blue limits it mainly to lightning or cold builds. A decent number of these builds exhibit high weapon damage so there’s a compelling case to be made for improving the damage on the proc as one way of further defining Korvaak’s niche.
I think another option would be to just lower it to 15 blue so it’s easier to access naturally.
Add Gargoyles from the Astral Plains into the new dungeon, as well as potentially some Kaisan spawns?
People are complaining that Kaisan is hard to find already, so I don’t think adding even more spawn points is a good idea
+1 for more Gargoyles though.
Not sure about the actual throwing animation of the player character, but the projectile speed could really use a buff.
That bottle flying through the air in slow-motion reminds me too much of the old thermite mines
Korvaak-affiliated enemies don’t fit in the new dungeon, lore-wise. That’s why Kaisan isn’t there.
The flames should expand then return to self, that’d be a decent buff already. The node is actually pretty good and the proc is nice if you have no flat DA/OA shred.
Im also not quite sure the pet stuff on it. Pet builds will NEVER use this node, because far better options out there in the form of mogdrogen’s howl.
Just get rid of it and make it universal for everyone with some buffs in stats.
I also like to have pet damage stuff back on rattosh please. Vit lost soul is still pretty crap with really limited devotion option. Basically defensive blue or howl+hunger void. Pure vitality pet build sucks without a good RR support, and best vit RR have no pet stuff on it, making it subpar.
The changes to the Word of Pain line were great.
However the number of items that give ranks to the base skill and the Word of Agony is very low. As far as i can tell, only 5 different items in the whole game give ranks to Word of Agony. Which is kinda surprising because for such high investments the dmg on the skill line is on the lower side compared to other casts in the game.
Make more items support the skill.
My wishlist:
- +1 hellhound summon limit to the desecrator covenant set, and maybe make it a purple set? IMO, double doggo should be possible without having it be vitality. With bonuses to fire and chaos damage and +skills to Hellhound, it feels like it should be the set that makes Hellhound the star of the show.
- Have Horn of Gandarr be affected by Artifact Handling (people seemed to like this idea).
- Make ‘of spellweaving’ give +% all damage instead of random damage types (someone else’s suggestion that I really liked).
- Please revisit Fettan Mask. The level 50 version went from a neat leveling item to an underpowered epic I’d never use.
Pretty please?
