I have played it more or less 20 hours and so far I am quite happy with what I have seen. I am waiting for the next patch to see what has changed! If they continue this way it will be a good game.
It looks like Sacred. Am I right? Or is it typical diablo clone?
It’s open world so yeah, more like Sacred, but with own twist on things and a rotating ring passive tree version like POE’s passive tree, except attributes are assigned like traditional RPG rather than in the tree like POE.
I have a strange feeling that this game will be dominant ARPG
I haven’t played that game yet, but from the videos here and there there seem to be something off in the animations and the combat. It doesn’t look quite satisfying to me.
I will probably wait for a full release and reviews before checking it out seriously, as I am afraid I would be disappointed with the current state of the game.
I more worried about how it turns out since I personally feel the team is a little too much ambitious but some replies in this thread have been re-assuring. I hope it turns out well since it’s always nice to have a good ARPG
Most likely getting reworked as time goes on, I know the character models are just place holders.

So is this aimed for 2018 release? Even later? I keep checking up on this game and every time I dismiss buying it because it’s still so early in development. I had a bit of an early access spree this year but I’ve become a bit jaded, so no more for me for a while.

I haven’t had any crashes while actually playing but it seems the latest updates the game has trouble launching, randomly. It will get to loading up, get to the the “Loading Player Chest” part, right before the menu should completely load in, and then just hang. I also had one hang trying to load in to the game after the menu had loaded up fine.
Edit: Spoke too soon. It just froze on me in character creation, while changing the hair. It was a particularly bad hair-do tho. Might have something to do with it.

Played 25 hours, leveled 4 characters to lvl 20.
Very good example of arpg. All elements are familiar, but they have their own approach in combining them and it works well.
I made the basic classes for any rpg - warrior, ranger and mage (plus thief with daggers). They all work, despite the game is in alpha stage! I tested them in Dhur arena on the currently toughest boss - Grozogr (who one-shots you with any attack). All can kill him without dying under 20sec. My dw two-hand warrior (you can wield 2 two-handers here, neat!) kills him in 11 seconds. Pretty happy with that because on my first attempts I died like 20 times.
Conclusion: fun and worthy arpg. I really hope it will be completed and released some day.
The game jumped up high on the Steam sales charts this week, might have something to do with the video Ryhkker put out a few days ago :eek:
