For funzies I’ve come up with four builds that are each meant to be powerful and playable solo, that also happen to fit into the themes of classic fantasy styled MMORPG classes or roles. We have a Tank, a Healer, DPS and Crowd Controller, each of which synergises quite well with the others. Two of these builds can solo Cally (Guardian and Forest Witch), one of them does the highest spike damage of any of my builds (and I think has the current world record for highest single-skill hits, Assassin), and one of them is just a frivolous frosty funtime that fiendishly freezes foes forever.
These builds are not intended for deep SR and are not designed to be perfectly optimised for team synergy, but together they can probably smash out SR 100 or 110 or something. They ARE intended to be a great fun time for the family!
In particular, bringing Guardian, Forest Witch or Arctic Arcanist to a team will be very fun for anyone in that team. Guardian turns every ally into a tank just about regardless of their build. Forest Witch brings multiple taunting pet tanks and a tonne of healing. Arctic Arcanist brings the fight to a stand still which is always an amazing spectacle.
However, for incredible moments of ridiculous spike damage and very fast boss takedowns (if lucky with Shadow Strike cooldowns), Assassin is the star of the show. So if you want to bring something that can take down tough enemies quickly, bring Assassin. But note that the squishy Assassin benefits greatly from the toughness of Guardian and Forest Witch.
It’s worth noting that while the Arctic Arcanists’ overall damage is ‘ok’ when soloing, it benefits from an additional 90% elemental/cold RR from Forest Witch and Assassin when played in a team, drastically boosting its damage output (let alone the added OA and crit damage).

Assassin
Pure DPS
“Kill or be killed” - Speed, precision and timing are the tools of the assassin’s trade. This build darts in and out of combat with a hit and run playstyle able to deal crits of up to 5-6 million damage with Shadow Strike and can get a poison DoT of up to 1million damage per second. In some cases, Shadow Strike’s cooldown will trigger multiple times in a row. If that happens and you get very lucky with critical hits, this build can end up dealing spike damage of 8-15 million within a second. This build is all about incredible single target spike damage, and is able to assassinate high value targets quickly, be they Nemesis enemies, healers or arcane foes. Ending fights quickly is sure to reduce overall incoming damage to the team.
Key Features:
- Highest spike damage of the team by far, especially when Shadowstrike’s 100% cooldown procs multiple times in a row

Arctic Arcanist (Arctis Magus)
Crowd Control / DPS
Bring winter’s icy breath upon the battlefield, forcing even some of the most fearsome of foes to a complete standstill. Freezing enemies and interrupting their attacks drastically reduces incoming damage to the team, and allows the team to comfortably out-maneuvre them. While Arctic Arcanists damage is ‘ok’ alone, it is significantly buffed when paired with Assassin and Forest Witch due to cold RR synergy.
Key Features:
