Thanks for the update. Take all the time you need to make it as good as possible, I’ll be happy to buy it when its ready! Thanks Crate!

Yeah plus it’s going to go down some day or the other. But yeah game dev with 1min startup time would be a huge waste of time lol

No clue where, but i did a very fast google search, and this popped up.

Love it. Take as much time as you’d like. I still remember the early build days. B18 will always be my favorite! Maybe, perhaps, the release will bring out GlockenGerda…one can hope!

Thank you Kurn tribes :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you!

What a pleasant surprise…I’ve always enjoyed this game and the updates! I’m excited about Fang! Game seems to be shaping up splendidly from the developer notes. I used to get emails from Crate announcing updates and so on, but it’s been awhile since my last missive zapped in. Keep 'em coming, as I’m always up for quality games and their improvements!

Release: a late Fall/Winter 2026

DLC is good, deadlines are not important.
However, I am personally worried about something. Namely, that there is nothing to do in the game after reaching level 100.
For example, I reach level 100 somewhere in the third act of the absolute (the estate) and then everything loses its meaning. I still need to go through the 4th act, AoM, FG, and in the future a FoA, and for what? Why open the map? Why explore all the corners of the locations? Why search bones and corpses? Why look for secret chests? Why visit totems and shrines? That is, all I can do is quickly run through the story to kill the final boss?
The character can no longer be improved during the game, all the loot and farming become meaningless. Crucible? Shards? And what can I get there if I am fully equipped?
That’s why I delete characters immediately after level 100. And I don’t feel like playing at all, since every new character is leveled according to the same scheme - normal difficulty with full exploration of the world (no build, no items for the build), then switching to absolute and leveling up to level 94, then the character is dressed and leveled up to level 100, then the game is deleted. I don’t want to draw level 100 blanks in the editor, I don’t want to draw items and immediately go to the crucible/shards to test the build, as almost all build creators do. I saw that in the Grim League there are corruptions, and all sorts of essences, and a branch of special passives, and a bunch of multi-level dungeons, and crowds of bosses/ultrabosses. Why not transfer the endgame from the league to the original game, with the exception of ladders. Or adjust the leveling and item drops depending on the current level of the player. (for example, collect and put on a Belgothian set not from level 94, but during the game at least from level 5.)
PS. I do not play Grimleague, I do not play PoE and Diablo because of the seasonality of these games. And I do not want to play mods that are here today and abandoned tomorrow.
I will probably buy a new DLC, but it will bring back interest for a couple of weeks at most. Or maybe I won’t buy it.
Thanks for your attention. Sorry for the mistakes, English is not my native language.

Devs have stated that at a certain point a character is done. They’ve no interest in unlimited character levels.

Do SRs or create a new character and play.

If that isn’t to your liking and you aren’t interested in the FoA storyline, then maybe you’ve had your fill of the game? Go play something else for a while?

See

That’s why I keep saying XP gain should be cut down to 10 % and shrines should give half a devotion point each.

and I never said anything about infinite improvement.
Let the improvements be completed at a certain point, you just need to push this very moment back.
For example:
1-94 lvl - completing the game and dressing the character
94-100 lvl - leveling up to level 100 and constellations
100 level - min-maxing polishing (corruptions, essences), completing deep dungeons, shards and various bosses.
This will allow you not to abandon farming, repeated legendary items will become useful (after all, when corrupted, there is a chance to break the item)
All actions at level 100 are optional for casual players, since the storyline and basic dungeons are completed without any improvements. And min-maxing is for hardcore players.
And everyone will be happy

how is that different from what it currently is?
