I like to see it as well, bring it on @mad_lee!

4.20
4.19

But then noobs who have no clue donāt get to tell which ones are good and which ones are not.
And they wonāt. Itās impossible without a competitive online element like ladders and stuff. One would think that at this point most players would be following just top builders stuff (and there tons of those builds posted), but from what I see on Discord and forums there are builders that still think that Turtle and 3100 DA will make build tankier (while having 10% slow res and other obvious mistakes) and there are people who follow them.

In all seriousness, I would legitimately like to see your list on the best builds in GD - possibly but not necessarily your own builds included. Can I get a ML-approved Top 10?
I thought about it 100 times. But
- If I include my builds someone will surely call me biased. And if I donāt then itās not gonna be real top 10
- I donāt care enough, uninstalled GD since the ban and havenāt installed it back since. Been meaning to post my last build (strongest EoR in-the-game which is funnily enough a Pierce Dervish), but only managed to write few lines of the guide in 4 weeks, lol
i wasnāt talking about that one.

and then thereās build that cannot kill calla (because itās melee), but does 4.20, whatās then? letās consider that both can pass SR90.
If this exists Iāll throw it into the top section right now.
Part of the lack-of-comprehensiveness in putting this flowchart together also stems from the fact that I may not necessarily be aware of everything. I kinda made a point about that in the ānotesā section of the chart as well:
Thereās only so much the forum search function could do for me. Look, I even missed @x1x1x1x2 entirely, somehow, despite knowing the guy exists!

DM me rather than posting it here then. I donāt care about bias. Just want to know what you think.

I donāt care enough
Well thatās its own thing, and I wonāt try to convince you of otherwise.

ok, now i know how your metric works.
but iām to lazy to create a proper threads for those builds, so idk, maybe after the patch.

i wasnāt talking about that one.
Sorry

dmāed, but some links you will have to find out yourself, I just donāt have them

but what if build is [everything+++] but only like 5.30 crucible timer? and then thereās build that cannot kill calla (because itās melee), but does 4.20, whatās then? letās consider that both can pass SR90.
This comes down to what Ceno regards as top-tier, his strict boundaries/judgment on timers and how meta or memey in concept both builds are (which is up to the authorās discretion).

5.30 and 4.20 are tremendous difference in damage.
Iād personally consider 5:30 as passable/solid in terms of Crucible timers - the majority of Crucible builds I see seem to fall within this area. Sub 5m are insane and perhaps should be put in a class on their own but thatās not up to me to decide.

Builds with the āEVERYTHING+ā(or +++++++++ if youāre @Dmt ) tag and a respectable cruci time/SR depth.
There are much more you forgot:
FASTEST CLEANERS IN THE WORLD
TOP STARTER
NO AGGRO ABUSE
EASY-BREEZY SR XX
And so on
Glad to see my man @WyreZ Augur build made the cut! #Augur4lyfe

I think I would nerf something to death if it could tackle every single thing.
woopsie (besides pets ofc)
This: I had brought it privately first to make sure people were okay with me showcasing their builds, as I know people like to keep things private so it doesnāt become so obvious it begs for nerfs. Iāll admit I was hasty in posting it before properly vetting it - had I known that certain Discourse formatting tricks were a lot easier than I initially anticipated, I would have taken more time editing things in my Microsoft notes instead of posting it first and then editing it then. Calling it V1.0 instead of an alpha was just a split-second dumb choice on my effort.
A few things I found when researching for my thread:
-
There are several threads that have the title: āSuper MEGA Crucible ROFLstomperā that uses all the broken things that a patch had (Chains of Anguish before the nerfs as an obvious example), then the patch comes around and the threadās never touched again. It makes it difficult to figure out which builds are meant to be updated and which was for the Crucible World Record times.
-
When it comes to build requests, thereās a whole range to look out for. Thereās the āI only want to play the most broken stuff before it gets nerfed cause I like killing things fastā group; then thereās the āI wonāt consider a build until it has a level guide with every skill point, every attribute, every devotion point accounted for.ā Then thereās the āI want to play with purple, but not too blue-ish purpleā crowd which has a mind of its own.
Grim Dawn has more than enough staying power that people will look in these threads 5-10 years after the last balance patch has come and gone. Once thereās no longer a fear of items or concepts being nerfed, thereāll be an explosion of good stuff out there.
Whereās Maskaās temporal arcblade elementalist? Canāt fin it and Iād like to take a look.
Are there really that many secret ultra powerful builds?
4 posts were split to a new topic: Pierce Dervish possible?

Bruh
Sorry, Iām blind sometimes. Iāve managed to literally find, read and laugh about all parts of your chart, but the HC part⦠Whoops.
Apprechiate the mention a lot in this comedic, but still useful chart!
